Kaotic: Mary Purpins, she is a true miracle. I had a Purple Urple Seed that was very large and veiny and purple. I cut down the middle with a scalple bisecting it. After carefully removing the shell, I collected one of my incredible purple bag seeds that I have been collecting over the years, and did the same thing with the bag seed. Then I took half of the bag seed core and half of the Purple Urple core and put them togeather, and superglued the PurpleUrple shell back onto the seed cores. Keep in mind, I have tried to do this hundreds of times in the past with no success. This was the only time that a plant has ever grown from this activity, at least in my realm. I germed her and once I saw a bit of root coming out, I removed the shell again to find that the two halvs had actually melded togeathre and were producing the root togeather. Planted in soil and kept outdoor for 6 months. Then I brought her inside to finish, and she came out with dense almost black nuggets that were very couch-locking. I re-vegged her with the help and inspiration of Aerohead, and now there are clones in my fridge. It's one of those weeds makes you have temporary 3 second complete amnesia... you know what I mean... So there is her life story.

Hi Freeze, it seems you were right. I have no idea what lead up to this so I'll keep my nose out of it, and I don't even really know melkor, it was just strange because I could see he had posted an hour ago but was banned. But anyway, someone asked me to post here that it was indeed a temporary 1 week ban and he'll be back after that. So there you go.
Yes, I can confirm Melkor will be back in a week and there will be no more problems. I just helped him out with his fridge seems he is growing livers in there again and I'm baffled! I helped him bleach it out as Freezerboy suggested and hooked him up with new net pots and Hydrotron and the problem returned. Wow, I have never seen this, so we are going to build a new sump. The fridge must go on!

WTF! What nutrients are being used? Any additives? This must not be. Suffer not the livers to live!
No nutes, only H2O2 and R/o water!!!! (from the same source as my aero PC) Normally I put a very weak trace of GH Flora nutes for when the clones root. By trace I mean a couple drops just to be sure the roots have something to feed on. This time there were no nutes, no rooting hormones, ect. To me this means there is something wrong with the sump? Something tells me that if we change the sump out, this mysterious problem will remain a mystery.... LOL

Am I getting this? Two gardens, one water source, only one garden has livers? There's got to be something in the liver garden, some piece of equipment that your gardens water isn't touched by, some condition...
I remember he cleaned to some degree. Did he completely dismantle EVERYTHING, wash it all in 5% bleach solution and reassemble? Just to double check, do you/he use GH Flora or GH FloraNOVA?

Yes, it was completely cleaned as recommended including the air stones that fell apart in the bleach solution. He used R/O water from the same source I get mine from for my PC. It has to be that plastic tub being used for a sump. This fridge is from the 60's maybe there is something in the plastic that is causing this. Got me all paranoid about my system so I have been checking the sump and it's clean, no livers thank god..

While I see no evidence the tub is the culprit, a new one costs ... $3? $5? Worth a shot.

I'd suspect the Micro has fallen out of solution but, that would affect your garden as well. Still, the official fix for that is mix Micro with equal parts hot water and use at "double" strength.

Interesting, I have never heard the double strength mixed with hot water.
I don't know what his water temps are but they can't be too high with just a bubbler in 3 gal of water with a 13w CFL. Temps inside the cab stay around 70F or so.
I have an update, the livers have gone away!! He just decided to leave the slime alone and it was gone one day? I hope none of us ever see this strange muck again.

The Other two Mary Purpins ladies have not pushed out any visible root formations yet, but with this much performance, it is likely to happen soon:
Sorry I got banned everyone, hope you didn't think I was gone forever. I also spray painted the lid to my sump black, so that light would get in less. It seems to be helping with the lung growth. But whatever it was, it seemed to be harmless to the plants themselves! So, I am just going to let em go and see what will be.
