Hello my friends
During covid19 lockdown, what's a better way to spend your time, than grow some Sweet Seeds beans? : )

Decided to put few different seeds, to have a nice variety of strains to smoke.
Wanted to do a hydro run, but soil and pots make things much easier for multiple strains.

Strains of this run, seed form:
4 Red hot cookies
4 Sweet tai
1 Jack47
(Canceled) -> Red Mandarine (from clone, still rooting)

picture.php

Seeds were fresh (as always) and sprouted fast.
10 out of 10 cracked. 1 little Jack47 seedling was killed by me, while trying to remove the seed shell.

Pictures from last week, 3-4 days old.

Will probably do 12 plants, have not decided yet the exact number of plants for each strain.

Thanks bibi !!

Day 15

They are a a bit sad, have to transplant them ASAP
These "pots" are smaller than 200ml :D

The micro "setup" at the moment.
A 40x40x120cm tent with 18w screw in led and a PC fan.
At the right its the lovely Red Mandarine mom and down right in the box are the clones rooting for the grow.

They will find a bigger home soon :huggg:

Red hot cookies has me interested. I have seen a few red pheno examples that look killer, wonder how they smoke. Following along.

Looking great. I'm excited to see the Red Hot Cookies in particular. I've got a gorgeous Red Mandarine about a week away from harvest. I've never seen such colors!

Day 21

Day 21

@ bibi, Gaussamer, ShowMeGrowmie thank you for stopping by guys!

@ShowMeGrowmie Totally agree with the colors of Red Mandarine, truly amazing! When i was thinking about purple buds , that's exactly how i wanted them to be. Top Notch stuff!
Only downside that i saw after 2 grows with a purple Red Mandarine clone, is that the smoke feels more heavy in the throat than any other green buds that i have.

@SweetApolo, Tommy G, thanks for visiting! And a big THANK you for giving us the opportunity to grow these seeds ; )

Day 21 (photos 2 days ago)

The plants -finally- got a transplant and found a new home (tent)!

They got a bit root-bound and hungry in the small pots, but half a day after the transplant they got extremely happy again!

They are under a 100w HLG led light for now

Here are the babies before getting topped once, might have to top one more time,,, we will see
picture.php

Grow room is pretty simple as you can see
1.2x1.2x2m grow tent
Carbon filter and S&P inline fan for air extraction
A circulating fan
Lights: 2 x HLG 100w, 1 x HLG 240w = Total 440w

Finished setting up the growroom.
Everything is ready and lights are on full power xD
Hoping to switch to flowering in 10-15 days, depends how fast clones will grow.

Day 32

Day 32

Hi guys!

A quick update from day 32 with lights off.
Most of them recover from transplant and a bit of overwatering. We are having some cold temps too, this time of the year.
Probably next days will see faster growth.

Red Mandarine and Jack47 clones are still recovering slow, they didn't root very easy this time. They are on a small tent with 18w light for now.

They look abit hungry, what do you think?

Day 39 - Last day of 18/6

Day 39 - Last day of 18/6

Thank you bibi  Indeed, they got feed couple of times and they look greener now!

Day 39 - Last day of 18/6

Tomorrow their first day flowering!
picture.php

Did some pruning, at the lower and middle nodes that won't get any light.

The 2 clones, 1 Red Mandarine and 1 Jack47, are shown here in middle row, the plants in the back.
They don't seem ready for flowering, but i can't wait longer.
Might keep 9 plants after all, to do a nice 3x3 square, but i will give them couple of days more to see how they grow.

Day 6 flowering :)
(photos from 2 days ago)

Decided to throw the 2 clones, the one Jack47 and the Redmandarine.
They were too small and taking precious space

They are now 9 plants, all from seed:
4 Red hot cookies
4 Sweet tai
1 Jack47

Some quick photos, will start showing individually the plants once they start bud

Thanks bibi 😀 Im glad you like them.

2 Red hot cookies plants start to become purple.

11 day flowering today, they seem slower in flowering under the LED, than the previous run.

Removed leafs and some more branches that would not get any decent light.

Will take some photos at their next watering
