real deal jojo aww from stash's seed preservation:
this run was nitrogen heavy. i'm doing recycled organic soil and I added too much chicken poop.
got more of this clone coming thru the system. she seems to turn dark purple ( almost black ) during cool temps. last winter.
these are smaller buds that were unpollinated. i'm doing some crosses.....

so i cho66ed all 4 plants at bout 4 daze flower, all were a nice grape smell and varying flavs.

back to the sour grapes:mental notes....
#1: mostly indica, slow vegger, lil stretch at flip, great grape smells and flav, looks to finish fast.
#2 and #3: hybrid, moderate stretch, vegs great, grape smells and flav, yeilded the most
#4: sativa leaner, 2/3x stretch, grape flav n smells, lowest yeild

i was gifted a pak of seeds hand labeled JOJO MIX 2 yrs ago.
not sure whats in it or if it's still viable.
thinking about what the mix is, maybe crossed out to other strains making F2s
or maybe a mix of jojo's original gear like the crystal locomotive?
whatever it is it's tasty food for thought, eh
rummaging thru the seed vault I found em tucked away.
I knew i had em but couldn't find them.
well now it's found, out of 10 i put 6 into a bath a while ago.
fingers crossed they're still viable and will crack/pop tails out.
more in a few days for you jojo aficionados

Good News seeds are a crackin!!
3 cracked and tails are emerging, slowly but it's happening

it's still early tho, I see this all the time
they can stall, even if the tails are growing, but it's a good sign when seeds this old still have the vigor to cracked the shell
I washed the seeds with H2o2 then made a mix with water for the 1st day they were in water,
then water- liquid karma, GB vitamins along with humboldt brand Roots
the seeds that cracked will go into a clear small dixie cup w/soil with seeds on the sides of the cup so i can monitor root growth.
once roots get a few inches long they go into 16oz solo cups.
I am really on edge waiting to see what becomes of these seeds if I can bring them to bloom.

The only Jojo mix I know of was what he called the "Elite Mix":
so it means these are actaully a jojo rizzo product, right?

You must have missed the quote at the bottom of my previous post? So what you likely have growing there, is Venomberry x any of these:
Venomberry (Ie Venomberry F2)
Blowfish
Chocolate Trip
Trainwreck
The Purp.
I did try a single Venomberry F2 (from someone else), and it was OK, but it wasn't grown under ideal conditions. All I can say is that the smell/flavor were unique (to me at least), and the fans do a very distinctive clawing thing.
Trainwreck and Blowfish from Jojo (S1s) have both been great. I'm smoking Blowfish right now, although not via Jojo. A kind soul donated some BF F2s for a repro, and I've been growing it ever since
