difference between a $200 & $2000 Distillation Head

forgive my noobness I'm just starting to research this process and realizing just like the CLS piecing together a system instead of buying a turn key kit seems to make sense.

So Summit has Distillation Head's for 2k, BVV not far behind and over on Alibaba you can find them for $100 or less. What makes a Distillation Head a 'good' one? Is it the manufacturing/material quality, a patented proprietary design or mainly branding?

I wouldn't pay that much for a distillation head.

After watching a Summit YouTube video I got turned off by him smoking near lab equipment.

Like real scientists smoke in their laboratories.

scour ebay for a used piece of quality glass.
