Here is the chop:

Leaf tip burn, lol. Won't see it after trim. Cherry smell with fuel like
burnt rubber notes.

Cherry Diesel, lol.

Looks smokeable to me, DC. (After a nice dry/cure that is) nicely done!

Sorry to hear about your culled male. I just had to put down a Malawi male that I'd been assisting for almost 2 months before sex showed. Kinda hurts to see such a good structured plant go. Optimistically, it opened up a little extra space in the "long-flowering section" of my micro grow. Can't wait to get an ace zamaldelica in its place! Unfortunately, my latest order has to be re-sent due to border hoarders....in a free world we would call "confiscated" "theft"...just sayin.

i really liked the smell of that skunky male.

I look forward to finding it in the S1 of the bagseed mum.

The Zamaldelica is an excellent plant to have in the stable,
and its very good customer service to have your order resent.

Hope it makes it through this time.

What's the dimension of your micro grow areas anyway?

3 out of 4 F2 01 seeds sprouted.

The other F2's in flower are showing their stretch,
one in particular has good growth pattern.

I like what I see, but no strong scents coming on.

The next round of F2's will be from the 03 mum cross.

Such an interesting study.

My "growspace" is roughly 6"x14"x12"h. However, I use random lighting to keep bonsai mothers/start clones. Have to experiment with different strains to know when to put them (rooted clones) into the growspace in order to get them to the height I want. It's quite a learning process.

...and I'm definitely not growing for the masses. Barely enough for my personal needs. But that is how I want to keep it. GYO! ;)

Anyways, I'm a big fan of your work, DC. Keep representing the micro growers. Can't wait til I have the courage to start chucking pollen and selecting progeny.

My trim is for personal use, please take note, lol.

I also see my picture size limit has increased since I donated
to the save Gypsy fund, An unlooked for, but welcome,
additional benefit to supporting the cause.

These buds will get tested in a couple weeks, my first F2 yield.

The current three F2's are in full flower, stretch no more.

Only one stands out among them for selection for the BX.

The three new seedlings are from the F1 01, and I added one more
seedling, so four for the next round of selections.

After that, then more seeds to pop of the F2 03 seed lot.

the hermi seed lot, F2 04 will have to wait.

The F2 03 in the yogurt demo is nicely frosted, she will get
the chop next week.

nice frosty nugs cat!

Thanks, I hope to get even more, lol.

Here's the yield of that F2 03:

Smooth smoke, the cherry taste lingers along with
the fuel of the sensi star. I'll keep this plant until the
project goes through the BX stage.

She is the first selection, yup.

She's very good, complex cannabis. Late night sleepy
time not so much, but all day, no worries.

I now smell a lemon pheno of the F2 01.

Like lemon candy. Hope it keeps that scent into harvest.

Not a heavy yielder, but another potential for the back cross.

I am thrilled to have these genetics to grow out, adds another
dimension to growing.

Here is the next batch of seedlings, from the F2 01 line:

The three bigger seedlings popped the same day. This is day 20. I start feed
just after the seedling stands up.

The smallest seeding was found in the drain sink, just a taproot
and seed head. A stroke of luck that seed didn't just wash down the drain.

Sprouted in Pro Mix, GH nutes.

The current F2's of the 01 line now in flower are real slackers compared to
the F2 from the 03 line.

I will almost certainly focus on the 03 line to select for the BX.

Two are dead skunk, but one is sweet lemon scented. I'll keep their
mums till harvest, but almost certain they will be discarded.

I'll re address the dead skunk thing next year.

Culled the F2 01 mums of the plants in flower, those plants
will finish, but go right to the hash pile.

The buds are spear shape, which is good, but too much
space between nodes and lowers are tiny.

Not a lot of resin, and the scent is cherry, but slight.

Popped four of the F2 03 line today, so now I can feel okay
about the cull.

Two of the new seedlings were culled, slow and stunted.

The other two are okay.

The three F2 01 in flower are low yield for sure, no keepers there.
