Casino Games

I know this is a weed site, but what do people do when they get high.

I went to a casino Saturday Night and had an awesome time. If you stay for two hours in this casino slot area you get a free dinner, comp. There were four of us and we all stayed the whole two hours and got to eat at the seafood buffet. Good deal.

I never won any money really. I was playing this game and my date started standing around me watching me play. I was up about twenty dollars or so. I ask her if she run out of money and she said yes. I said why don't you play my machine, it seems to be hot, while I go out and put a little piece of hash in a cigarette. I went to the men's room and packed a couple of smokes and put some fine ass bubble hash into each of the smokes. We were not allowed to leave the slot area so had to smoke our hash indoors. When I come back to my machine my friend had taken my $20 to over $300! So we took turns smoking our smokes so as to not make so much smell that we would be detected. I think the ventilation system must be really aggressive because I didn't smell the hash (of even the cigarettes for that matter). We were not able to totally smoke out, but we were able to keep our buzz going.

I must have got high enough, because I didn't ask my friend the share (our $300) winnings off of my slot machine.

Anyway.... to make a short story long, what is your favorite game?
Me, I like The Price is Right lol. They are all goofy and fun to watch high, but I seem to win off of that one. I know all the games are rigged to take your money except poker. I do well playing poker, but you cannot be with friends when doing that. When I play poker I sit down and feel like I am at war until I stand up. Not a social thing at all.

Seems to me casinos are made for stoners. All the animations, the lights, the sounds and the buffet. And from what I am seeing they are everywhere now.

I know what you are saying, there are some ruined lives from gambling. It is one of those things in the history of mankind like prostitution and getting fucked up. Some people can handle it and others can't. That can be said from anything to fast food to cocaine. I feel fortunate that I am not addicted to anything to the degree that I not be able to pay my bills. I do know that if I do not have coffee I can get down right ill.

When it comes to gambling you go in with as much as you care to lose and leave it at that. I gave my date $50 to gamble with and I put in only $10 myself. I would have come back with more money if she had given me the money my machine won. I wanted her to have a good time and honestly I have spent a lot more than that doing other things. And at the end of the day we got a free dinner each, $25 per person. So I spent $10 on two really nice dinners. She had a great time and went home with like $345 or something like that. You know she was happy. We left the casino after we had dinner. We went to my place and she gave me a first class back rub. She said if we become a couple she would do that every night. I don't believe her, but it is worth thinking about.

Pretty much the only games u can take an edge on is poker, bj and if you have the technical skills, craps. Everything else in the house is playing to an expected loss...comps included. Less the rake...poker is against other people. Bj has an edge if you can count and have some house perks like the number of decks they use and bet variation. Craps is a technical art in setting and tossing the dice...and if ya keep winning they'll ban ya, same with bj. Sports book is a seperate venture, if they have one.

Btw...as soon as they see u toke inside (and they will)...possible permanent ban at all properties worldwide. Lol, and that happens, esp if u play to win.. But the parking structure is fair game...they want you high and fucked up, just be discrete.

What do ya call a professional poker player that recently broke up with his girl? Homeless ;-)

I agree with you for the most part, with the exception of blackjack. I really don't see people having the much of an edge in that game.

Poker.. Well that is one deck of cards and so many people. The odds are humanely possible every hand. The only times I have lost big in poker is when I bet more on a hand than I should have, and knew all along that I shouldn't have. Sometimes I feel I am in a wave and bet more than I should. Sometimes you win and other times you don't. But when I don't win and lose a lot I know that I was the dumb ass that wagered more than I should have for the kind of hand I had.

I love poker and can play for hours. I only really bet high on about 5% of the hands (1 good hand in 20 bad hands). When I do bet a lot it is a high straight, a high flush, a full house or 4 of a kind. I bet sort of high on medium flushes, straights, and three of a kind, depending on what everyone else is/has been doing. I am pretty good at poker I think, and have done well with online games. I wish I could just take about 10k and do nothing for money but play poker and see how I do. From my way of calculating everything I think 10k would be all I need to be able to stop working and just play cards for a living. All I need to win is about $300 a night, 5 nights a week and I would be set.

Slot machines are a waste of money. That is why I only wagered $10 and then gave the winnings to my date. You would think that slots are for the simpler folk, but there is a system for losing your money not as fast. But in the end, you always lose. You my win $3500 one night, but you spent many times that to get there. I sort of feel the same about blackjack. I do have fun with some slot machines, but it is not about winning money. It is about studying the crazy ways they have of making you feel like you are winning something each spin as it milks all the money away.

Thanks everyone for contributing to this thread.

A big piece of yhe puzzle is bankroll management, no doubt. Actually this can be a very deep and detailed discussion if we really get into it...we can get philosophical as well as tactical, lol... ;-)

I used to know this guy that rolled on bj...when he got the count his bet variation was huge...made me sick watching it. He was literally playing a 30k roll on a regular basis... Personally saw him take a 17k dive in one day. Makes a poker player feel ill to watch...lol

U got capped nl games in ur area?
