okay many people have asked for pics of my stacked cool tubs and the hanging wire. I figured if I'm posting that i may as-well show a few shots of the full room.
Not the best shots as the only reason i was there was from a high temp alarm. Room hit 139f. The GE exterior timer for my AC failed after 8 yrs of use. Worst of all, it was inspected and checked the week prior. Cant find any literature about life expectancy but i guess 8 hrs 360 days a year was too long. Some wilting and slight bleaching/ burn. I GOT LUCKY, room ran for two full days like this before i saw the email alarm.
The equipment
CAP XGC-1 this controller has lasted over ten years with only a few issues. The timing wheel will lose a tooth every now and then, and must be replaced. CAP sent me a few extras, and i still have two left so i should be good for 5 more years at-least. I modified the internal wiring to de-link the CO2 , and humidity/temp function. The humidity has been linked with the temp sensor in reverse to run my dehumidifier. it now starts at 70% and will shut down if the room reaches 83f.
The room is hard wired with three separate 15amp GFCi circuits, I used breakers vs plugs cause i had excess from a job. The large plug is a 30 AMP 240v dedicated circuit for lighting.
The AC is now controlled by a blue bird temperature controller. This is not exactly what i wanted but had no time to find and alternative and its what i had on hand.
Please excuse the mess of airlines. I recently decided to replace my 6 Elite 802 pumps, with a single hydrofarm 70Liter per min. I am now battling noise and hot air, I'm probably going back.
I also decided to try digital ballasts instead of my 15 year old magnetic's. Went with Apollo cheapies instead of nanolux at 500$ each. So far temps have been better, but until the new light meter arrives I'm not deciding.
