2 years worth of work and still WORKING on it daily. Its always changing and I'm always getting new ideas.

Sup LB ? Thanks man. I only keep a father long enough to get the sperm. Then I kill it. However, I do keep ONE AK47 male in veg with my mothers. I keep him trimmed down and small. As long as he's in 18/6 or longer he won't produce pollen. I'm only gonna keep him long enough to get a good sized female grown up, flower the male and female in a seperate area and let them do their magic. This should yield hundreds of seeds. Then I kill him too. I love AK47. Its such a stable, high yeilding potent plant. Pretty too. (Can a Pirate say "pretty" without getting into a duel) ?

I'm digging the stealth entrance! That is SICK! Can you go into some more details about this? It looks like its almost 2 plywood doors? I'm trying to get more ideas on how to seal a 2 door room Im working on....

Can you tell me about your ventilation in the rooms, and for the lights? This had to be a crazy task to undertake!

Planning? You have no idea. I actually drew up a full size set of real blue prints TO SCALE. It was the only way I could verify that EVERYTHING was gonna fit before I actually started the build.

My Wench says I'm anal but I don't give a shit. If your gonna do it.......at least TRY TO DO IT RIGHT.


The stealth door:
I cut a doorway into the back wall and hung a single sheet of Plywood to make the swing door. I use a bungy cord hooked on a drywall screw to keep it shut. (High Tech Huh)? The double layers your probably seeing is the second sheet screwed to the back of the ROLLING SHELF to conceal whats behind the shelf. I painted the plywood part that is against the shelf so that it APPEARS as though its the back wall from the workshop area.

Make Sense?

Ventalation? Now thats a sticky one. I am always changing this as I grow in size. reconfiguring etc. Basically, I have 12 - air cooled hoods with a single 8 inch vortex and couple boosters (THIS is changing. I'm getting 4- 6 inch vortex, One for each table). ,I've got a 6 inch intake vent with a Stanely Blower bringing fresh air in and a 6 inch Vortex sucking air out of the whole room. PLUS, I have a Dayton style vent fan hanging in the room that is connected to the Dehumidifier and sucking the heat this makes out as well as extra general room heat. This Tees into the main air out pipe. There are 2 ACs. One is the Portable floor model you see. This vents to the outside with its own vent pipe. Then I have another THROUGH wall AC mounted 10 feet up and over the door to the bloom room. This is to cool the Crows Nest. The back end of this sits in a BOX I built to capture the heat blown out the back of the AC since this is the Mother Room. The box has a 4 inch Vortex sucking the hot air created by this AC and that vents to the attic of the workshop. This AC is controlled with a Thermostat mounted at the second level plant height so that the AC comes on at 80*.

But again, The whole thing is about to change as I reconfigure and install some HARD Ducting to tap into at various points with a huge ass vortex. Heat is always a freaking issue and I want to solve it once and for all. Especially before summer comes because I am finally running a FULL HOUSE with all lights fired up and last summer was brutal with 8 out of 12 burning.

I see water cooled hoods in my future. FAR more efficient, No ducting, No noise.

Just a quick update so we know where we are today and what we'll get in a month or 2.

Crows Nest / Table 3. This is 3 photos spliced together to try and capture the width. Still didn't get it all. Speed Queen, Satori, Berry OG, Hashberry. I think it is day 10 of 12/12.



This is Lower Deck Table 1. We are 20 or so days from harvest. They are starting to fatten up now. Remember........this is a DIY..... NFT / Aeroponic Hybrid I am testing before I build enough to fill the room.

I don't actually flush it out. I only add PH adjusted water for the last 10 to 14 days before Harvest. What I find amazing is the Lucas Formula is so dead on that they'll start using up available nutes within days. With my old formula, I could go weeks without actually adding anything and they'd still be over nuted.

I'm harvesting a pound today my friend so I'm gonna be busy.

I really really really like your thread man.. the plastic shelf L channel floor for your upper level is really cool. I've got a shop with an A frame pitch of 24' feet I've always thought about doing two levels in there but never have, I'd say your post is an inspriation if I was in to ripping out thousands of dollars of infastructure so instead I'll just tell you what I already have...I think your thread is the shit!

You know what I'm thinking right. 24 foot ceiling = 4 teirs. YEAH BABY !! LOL.

I hear ya. I tore out thousands to build in thousands. Go figure. My roof is peaked as well and I had to remove all kinds of support structure and then rebuild it another way just to keep the building from falling over.

I harvested 1 small table yesterday. It will only be 10 ozs after drying but I knew that already. I will take down another 4 to 6 ozs next weekend.

I'm getting ready to split the rooms up. Bloom room will consume everything in all previous photos and the Veg room will be sent to another area all together.

Here is what the mother room will look like when all said and done. I left out the upper cupboards and front wall so you can view the interior. By relocating the mothers, Pre-flowers and clones, I will have the whole Cave set up as a bloom room only.

Been at sea fighting the ice storm for 8 days & nites..... Finally got back to dock for more grog and a computer hook up....

Your cave is looking really good...Seen any pirate eating beetles lately? That was a big un! Seems a lot of catching up needed on my part.

Those buds of yours had me drooling! I was so surprised that ALL of my plants survived the freezing temps and no lights for 8 days. I figured they would be all wilted and frozen for sure.

I love this Geetar. I've had her since 1995 and she just gets better in sound as the years go by and she ages like a fine wine. The Flame maple gives off a very warm tone and looks sexy as well. The cuttaway allows me to grab those upper frets. She is my favorite acoustic. I have 1 other acoustic and 3 electric for a total of 5 geetars. I'm working on getting a 12 string myself. I use to have a beautiful one from the 70s but it got ripped off a few years back. GGGGRRRRRR
