3 way nodes?

Well that kind of sucks, I had one plant that was growing hexagon shaped stems, and was starting to throw 3 branches/fan leaves out of every node. The plant started out normally, then went to altanating nodes, then the stems starting going hexagon, then the three way nodes. but alas, today it showed it's sex, and its a boy.... damn.

Anyway, anyone see the three way nodes before?

Yep....and even seen bifurcating stem action. At the top forming node, the stem would bend 90 degrees and shoot off two branches--both becoming a "main stalk" of sorts and the bifurcating action repeating at the next new node. At the point of the 90 degree bend, the stem would take on a oblong shape (not the normal circular round stem we are accustomed of seeing) and then shoot out and additional 2-3 branches at that node. Not hexagon but crazy seeing 5 branches at single node (2 main + 3 extras). She was a weird one from the start.

And for the longest time, she was a very good mother to me...
