That first pic is great! That's what I'm looking for. I might do further stages of growth later on ( if I'm not a wimp)

Cool idea! I love botanical tattoos. I'm getting another in June. Even if you think it's the most painful thing in the world, you'll probably get more. One tattoo is never enough, and it's not too expensive if you stick to lettering and line work. I second posting a pic of the final art!

That was the plan at first. I liked the idea that most people wouldn't know what it was. But then I had the idea of a seed. Now I'm kinda thinking that I can start with a germinating seed, and if I want to continue, I could show all the stages in a circle. Starting with a seed, germination, sprouting, veg, flower, swollen pollinated bract, back to seed. Like you see in old plant identification books, but in a circle to show it's cycle of life.
If I don't want to continue, the germinating seed by itself symbolizes my new start full of life.

I think I will try to send the tattoo artist several pics of some pretty seeds, and then some pics of the germinating seed. Having problems finding a seed with attractive design that is germinating also

I hope that it will not look like a d*ck with b*lls from a distance.
Maybe better to have the taproot curl around the seed.

I was telling the tattoo artist my idea of showing each stage of growth, and he came up with a great idea. Finish it out with a branch hanging down my back like it is drying.
Awesome idea.
