So i didnt pay attention to plant names as i was taking pics. So essentially this is just flower porn. I have a bubblegum, and an AK47, and the light green is a THC Snow. I am pretty sure the light green is from temp fluctuations. Damn nature cant make up her mind...

it might be a problem, but probably not much of one
looks healthy on the whole, maybe a magnifier to look for any sap suckers on the leaves
like the fast growing mazar, some mazars do get very large

Here is a better picture of the plant in question. It has gotten worse in the last week.
picture.php

I will let it continue until it pulls through or croaks. I dont have any replacements, so either it makes it or not.
I have inspected the leaves with a 60-100x micro and have not found broad, thrip, or aphids. Though i did have the treehoppers... which are sap suckers. They are almost entirely gone now though.

I have seen a couple shots on here that look similar, but they are due to over watering, and i am pretty sure thats not the case here. I water or feed every 3 days...

obviously a problem of some sort
i'm going to guess it's a genetic issue since you couldn't see any beasties under magnification
and the color looks fine
though it is odd for it show up now if its genetics
but just about anything is possible

And all of the other THC Snow's are healthy as can be. I have grown some Purple Trainwreck in the past, that i seem to remember had this wierd curl on a single branch. I let it go, and nothing ever came of it. Just some mutated leaves. Was some damn good smoke though! Thanks for the positive vibes igrowone!

So for the sake of peeps following along, i screwed the pooch this weekend. I went out to the garden without my phone. And in the Father's Day rush, i wasnt able to go back out a second time for pics. The girls are nearly 2 ft taller than last week though!
I am still having issues with leaf curl on the THC Snow, but it hasnt spread to any of the other girls.
It sure looks like ill be harvesting the auto flowers in a couple of weeks. A couple of them are getting pretty thick!
It's nearly my favorite time of year. 2 more days till the solstice, and then a couple weeks till everybody really starts swinging toward full flower.
Oh, in case anybody cares, it was 106 deg yesterday! But the girls love it!

Lets go ahead and start off with a couple crop shots and a shot of an Ak47 that doesnt pertain to anything else.

The Ak47 in the last picture is a little hard to distinguish from the plant behind it. Its not as large as it looks, but for a plant that is only 72 days old from seed, id say its pretty good!

I have started the chop on my auto flowers, the first one came down yesterday. It had 2 nanners on it, so it got yanked immediately! Once inside i mic'ed it and saw a respectable mix of cloudy and amber trichs. So happy. She must have been trying to further her genetic line. This means the next days will be spent checking the ripeness of the autos...

Nanner just low and left of center of pic...

I am also very happy to announce that my leaf curl is disappearing. I have almost 2ft new verticle growth above where the curl was, and the curled leaves have nearly completely grown out of it. Here is a shot of the same plant...
picture.php
i think it may have been from pH getting too low when we fed. Tap is aprox 6.1, but nutes were bringing pH down to 5.78... so im sure that wasnt good

Thanks for the kind words. Im not quite sure i would say it fixed itself though... i still dont truely know what was causing it. It only seemed to right itself once i changed the pH...

I have been crazy busy this week! Sorry for the late update. All the girls are looking pretty good. The twisted leaf plant looks strange now, she's just shooting straight up like a cypress. The THC Snows look amazing! As do the Mazar... only a couple of the auto flowers are left maturing in the garden, the rest have already been chopped. Most of them were done in under 80 days!

Busy doesnt even begin to describe what i have been... if i didnt have a partner for the garden i would be a customer all next year. All of the girls are doing great, for the most part. A couple have some critter damage, which happens nearly every year. Its due to pack rats, and you cannot escape them. If they can fit their heads through a hole, they can force their body through the same hole!
picture.php

So its not much worse damage than a slight trimming, however if it continues it could be a big problem.

Overall the garden is doing great! The plants are almost all over 5ft tall now. None of them have actually started flowering yet, but they are getting crazy close.
picture.php

The autoflowers are all done now, and chopped. Pretty sure they have all dried, but still need to be trimmed. I wont be there, so im at the mercy of my crew as far as smoke goes. Hopefully they stay ontop of the cure... usually thats my dept...

Till next time :tiphat:

Excellent garden, Baker! I had some critter damage earlier this year. I got a product called Nature guard, a mixture of organic repellents. Seems to be working. Apply 2-3 times per week. I would definitely check the fencing and reinforce with chicken wire or expanded mesh. How small are they? Keep up the good work! :smoke:

Well i made it home finally. The garden is looking ok. Looks like maybe some nutrient issues, but nothing major. No real change that calls for pictures... however, they have all finally started to flower... so now the race to the frost is on... and im not talkin bout trichomes!

Give those girls a CA spike! Mix up 1 part EWC to 9 parts gypsum and then use a 1/2 inch rebar type spike to make a bore-hole and fill it with the mixture. Your plants will love it as Ca is translocatible within the root system. Do it now, not during mid flower.

The bubblegum auto seems to have blessed me with at least 2 phenotypes. 1 is going to be very bushy, and the other is nearly a straight cola. It would have been good for a SOG setup.
Here are a couple shots of the Bubblegum Auto

And then we have a couple overall crop shots. Enjoy!

So i have an update. I am going to be working out of town, but the garden is in good hands. Updates should come weekly for the foreseeable future. The sick AK47 still seems like she is pulling out of her funk still. But there are no slackers allowed in this garden! Either she makes it or she doesnt, no special treatment, lol.
View Image

The rest of the garden is still doing quite well. Im still not sold on these autoflowers yet. They are a little small for my liking at this point. But the idea was to have some early crop while waiting until october for kind buds. Im sure they will still bulk up though, only time will tell.
Heres a couple of the AK47...
