*as I know we have not seen (as we called it) Columbia Gold since the late 70s here in the northeast, it had such a nice taste. are there still seeds around for it?

the problem is, that those who are keeping it, most of them dont have possibility to grow thousand plants at once to make real reproduction... so they preserve it somehow with small numbers in one specific environment. its more their selection, they preserve one or few phenotypes which are doing good at their environment, but many other genes got lost in this process.. so definitely any today´s colombian gold is not the same as those golds from 70´...
