I am pretty worried about what is going to become of us from all of this AI and super computing, rapid scientific advances and etc.... but i never envisioned the endless.... literally endless hours of video there is on Youtube.... it is something that i would never thought i would see in my lifetime back in the 80s.

I'm pretty sure Youtube is floating about 40% of our public education system in the USA.

I like watching AvE a lot, he does a bunch of random bullshiting around in his shop with tools. I find it entertaining and educational, also I like tools and tool comparisons.

Most of the channels I like are educationally oriented toward specific stuff, so probably not really worth mentioning to everyone.

Robot Kitchen: hidden trail camera videos in public places

Charles Dowding: No Dig Gardening Method

NeverSink Farm: guy knows how to make money on a small farm

AvE: really smart guy likes to take things apart

GTOger: funny ass videos showing stupid people getting their cars towed from his business parking lot

yovo68: 11 foot 8 inch bridge gets hit by trucks about once a month

Aspen Physics: Cosmology, Astronomy and Physics lectures for the general public

ArchaeologySouthwest: Archaeology lectures for the general public about the Pueblo people, Fremont, Mimbres, Chaco Canyon and more.

The Home Inspector: He posts videos of the incredible things builders do wrong in fancy upscale homes.

Just a few of my favorites that post videos fairly often.

Just FYI IV8888 is a product shill. All his reviews are paid for under the table and a company even just recently came out stating that he did them dirty on a handshake agreement for reviews in exchange for work, lasting over two years. IIRC in the end, landing them over 100K in the hole for building his webshop as a way to partner up and get his channel some legit income. I hate Military Arms Channel in comparison, but their reviews are actually honest. The Yankee Marshal is another one that appears to be honest and doesn't pull punches when reviewing stuff, and he's much more intelligent than he comes off at first.

I paid a programmer to create a new youtube. Call it my personal youtube juke box where I am able to save any youtubes I like and they will never be deleted unless I delete them.

So here's to you youtube :moon:

p.s. cost less than a grand total which included uploading about 1,000 video's that I chose at first. It's a learning experience with space and how much storage etc. I found a couple of programmers online who bid for the job. If there was only a way to compress each one then hosting would be cheap.
