Coming from a legal, medical state and having learned my advice is to try to get medical grows on the ballot, for patients and caregivers. Otherwise the state will have a taxable stranglehold they won't ever give up. Squeezing all the $ they can out of sick people. Experience has shown there's not a 2nd or 3rd chance to make it better. The voters will believe the war is over, we won. If medical is already legal why do we need to change the law?

I understand Tennessee is a southern, conservative state and getting any sort of legislation is difficult. But times have changed people will vote depending on how they feel about cannabis legalization not the details of the law. Take a chance and go for it you have nothing to lose. 20 years from now the sick people will thank you as opposed to wondering why other states allow home grows and Tennessee does not.

I'm in the only state on the West Coast that doesn't allow Rec home grows and this state never will allow Rec home grows.

Now would have been the time during the upcoming General Election however I have not heard of any proposed TN legislation. Tough nut to crack here in Trump land. Bummer....

There is some hope. Unfortunately, Tennessee doesn’t have a voter initiative process, so only elected officials have the power to change state law.

TN BILL WOULD DECRIMINALIZE MARIJUANA POSSESSION STATEWIDE, ALLOW COUNTIES TO VOTE ON LEGALIZATION
The bill would allow counties to hold referendum elections to allow the growing, processing, manufacture, delivery and retail sale of marijuana.

I read about vertical integration in FL. Some get licenses just to flip them. I think the people there want an open market.

Medical passed the Kentucky House so maybe it will make it through the Senate. It would put some pressure on Tn politicians.

gotta say edible is a major upgrade over marinol and its ilk
do understand the outrage over the freaky government control
got that here in NY, but that's changing this year - likelihood very high
it's a step, there will be other steps

Yeah I have been working on that Alabama bill for a while and there’s just no consideration for allowing people to grow. It’s been a real disappointment and I had a lot of hope in the beginning and met and talked with some key figures who all got it but somewhere along the way what we discussed just disappeared.
