Vote Republicann!!

I have a theory that the only way cannabis is ever going to be Federally legal is if we embrace the Republicans. Oh boy I can here it now but hear me out. Remember when we thought for sure they would vote to continue the Obama policy of not going after businesses that obeyed state laws? Actually it said they wouldn't fund it. But then a shock to everyone (whoever) voted to let the policy expire and Sessions said he would go after any law breaker he wanted.

About the same time I read that a small state cannabis advocacy org had their bank account closed fearing federal issues. Here is my take, as long as we are rightfully viewed as a fund raising arm of the democrats no matter what they say with their mouths the Republicans are going to oppose us. Like Braveheart we support them in the north and attack them in the south.

We are Federally illegal which means we live or die at the whip of a nut job president. And sorry but the dems lost. The day after the election we should have woke up and put on our make America vape again hats. We should have our lobbyists at every republican bar telling Senators over Scotch "you gotta close race...you can count on a suitcase of untraceable cann-cash!"

But seriously I believe they would be remiss to sit back and allow lucrative illegal money support their enemies your naive if you think otherwise. If your a wealthy pot dude and donate considerable cash to dems etc expect bank issues tax issues etc. I think they will do a few big story busts of like Harborside raid them and board them up because they can and make everyone more concerned with having bail money than donating to dems and making waves.

But amalgamation would happen you could have a list of red lines for young moderate Republicans like no wars worry about our paycheck fuck big business and lighten up on abortion etc.

I know its out there but its obvious it will take both parties and its a done deal. The way this president sells out I bet he'd legalize today if you gave him four more years. I know its too costly but he'd probably accept if we voted in some people to pardon him later!

(Nixons voice) "I am not a crook! Vote Republicann!"

I have trouble understanding how the Republican Party can keep promoting policies that harm their supporters and at the same time gin up more support for the party.

My state is replacing old school Republicans with Libertarian Republicans that support legalization every election. I think Alabama just passed medical and that is a super red state. It's becoming a bipartisan issue in my opinion.

I disagree. It should be bi-partisan, and to a certain extent, has been a bi-partisan issue. Acreage was very smart in hiring John Boehner as a board member and lobbyist. He reshaped the argument into one that republicans could gather around: state’s rights. Both recreational and medical states are bringing in sooo much tax revenue, their reps and senators have jumped on board with bi-partisan legislation in both chambers of congress. Who knows when there will be a vote, but at least we have a good start. The other thing that needs to happen is for MJ to be re-classified by the DEA. With recent developments in the FDA, hopefully, there’s a rescheduling on the horizon. Republicans who are anti-pot can at least get behind “States Rights” as it has been a republican talking point for decades. And finally, as much as i abhor trump, if he unilaterally legalized pot, he would be remembered as the coolest prez of all times.

I don't know about Republican or Democrat , but mabey they should deregulate big government and give us the power to make our own choices about marijuana.

Democrats and Republicans are owned by the same corporate interests. If you want to support the oligarchy, it doesn't matter which one of their sides you pick. I'm just sayin'.

Lol no. Wtf...thats some weird prison logic shit. Welp gonna get raped, might as well offer them some lube and try to get the littlest dicked dude. If the republicans fit your beliefs, good deal, if its the democrats, good deal, but you should never compromise your broader value system just to smoke weed, and you sure as hell shouldn't do it because some fear of "the man" and what they can do.

Nah I'll support Bernie Sanders efforts of getting rid of the war on drugs altogether as well as enforcing existing anti trust laws against the likes of Monsanto and other agricultural giants who are patenting seeds of all kind.

Xavier we just have one question the easy way or the hard way. Reminds me of the joke. If you were in the woods and got gang raped and nobody knew but you would you tell anybody? No? Want to go camping?

I think I like the prison rape logic process its to the point!

I'm thinking we have about s much choice as a rape victim which is surly what both partis do. Hmmm? But if I didn't have a choice I was getting my broader values compromised regardless of how I felt about it...ya Id want lube and the tiniest penis on the yard. Haha!

Its cool though I know I'm not gay. Every time I screw a republican in prison...I don't like it. Straight as an arrow! In fact anyone who hasn't screwed a republican (in prison) still has some odds of liking it that Im just not comfortble with as they probably would love it, which is why they dont prove they dont.

Hows that for logic!? haha! Peace.SIG

Highly doubtful.
And I was a Republican.....once. When Reagan became President, I switched and never looked back.

Reagan, ahh yes, created so much debt it guaranteed future generations more and more socialism. In fact Reagan made all other presidents before him look like paupers when it came to thrusting this country into such deep debt that it would pretty much make it mandatory for companies here to seek a cheaper way to produce products....hence we are in deep because of all these great politicians.

If voting could make anyone free, voting would be declared illegal.

That JUST SAY NO phrase gave me indigestion....thanks, Nancy, for spreading the mockery/propaganda. Meth I can see, cannabis, no, no, no, no!

Way to grow/go, aoh!!! Now if the die hards (R) could only see/understand the current sham.

I vote for whomever will benefit me as a tax payer, the community and nation. I scour the info (best one, synopsis) is usually League of Women Voters...unbiased review.

There are a few (R)'s I vote for (Land Commissioner, State Auditor, not lately) but none in high office....no sir!
