What is your favorite or "the best" flushing product?

I used to pull the plant out of it's pot, wash the rootball free of most of the loose soil, and put it in a 5 gallon bucket of water with an 50 gallon pump pushing an airstone to keep the water oxygen rich. I would change the water at lights on and lights off for about 5-7 days. This method worked well for flushing when I was a miracle grower before I got into the organic water only method of growing.

i guess i should also mention that i am using a recirculating hydro system so i think i could use something other than just water to help leach salts. am i wrong?

Why starve a plants when it is clearly ripening? when I was chem growing I would just feed lightly all the way through.... no flushing....

i think we can all agree, its the last 2 weeks that our beloved girls really put on the weight.... so why starve them at the time they need the most food??

I disagree. Up to 20% of your total weight might come in the last two weeks which means 80% or more was already there. Your not starving them While your flushing. You are forcing them to use the nutrients they have stored on in there cells.

Any flushing agent I know of does nothing to speed up the process. They are basically an equipment cleaner.

We also use Clerex for the final 2 days, look at it's ingredients it has a lot of sugar(s) glucose and sucrose in it as well. We have seen some improvement in taste and weight since we started using it but mostly we (also) flush with RO water.

Save your hard earned $$$ and flush with water. Just water. In the past I have tried other products that CLAIM to be helpfull. I have seen NO benifit from using the products. Soooo over the last few years I use ONLY water.

I used ro water to flush when using non organic. Worked well for me. I use water and black strap at end of my organic grows last couple of days.

I was going to say the same for the b.s. molasses.

While I don't do it, I've seen posts from folks that do.

No starving plants that way, and it's a natural product.

Might give it a try. Plants like sugars towards the end of flower, don't they?
