Gotta share the last batch pictures of Chocolope F2 pheno #2, harvest at 63 days 12\12.

This plant is one of the best, it has great colors, nice flower formation and leaf/bud ratio and it's one of the smelliest, let's say something sour and some milk. Aroma is sweeter than average, next seed batch I will sprout will be from this mom!

Let's the pictures talk themselves

Thank you Endur. I use a canon eos 400d and have a couple of lenses, one of them is a macro lens.

Ah! I didn't smoke it! That's a mess!!!
I just put some of his cannalopehazeXcalifornia indica down in coco to germinate...

Now it's time to update the 4 exodus cheese clones grow. Today are passed 20 days from the switch. Plants are happy and roots are great.
I noticed the common photorespiration signs just under the 600W lamp and looking better I discovered a couple of flowers that have strange formations. At now they are not bananas, but they need to be watched out to avoid bad stuff.
This strain is revealing susceptible by heat stress and if the theory is confirmed I'll probably remove it from my next breeding projects.

Flowers (the yellow color is due to hps, I can't remove it 100% in some pictures)
Resin is abundant just after 20 days!

This one is maybe the smallest of 4. Buds are going to fatten up also where light can't reach well, this is a thing that plants grown in soil don't do, or at least not by my experience.

Notice on the left side the root mass is lower than right side. That side is the one where the water come from and the flow keep the roots away. Maybe it could be a thing to improve next time, study another method to give the root mass all the space possible.

u can use a ring like the ones on waterfarm around the net pot, and it should distribute the water evenly.

It can be improved. Well let's say it will be improved! I mean I still learning run after run but overall I'm obtaining good harvest with this system right now. Quality weed and huge harvest (compared to what can I do with soil).

I think you gave me a nice idea. Sticked in my mind for the next run. Thanks BS!

Time to update the grow log. Today are passed 26 days from the switch and plants are doing great. Buds are fatten up really well, trichomes are pretty everywhere with a nice smell.
However I still can't smell the original exodus cheese, the mom, the one grown in coco&perlite. It had such a great pungent smell that could be gone lost by taking several cuts offspring. Hope they get better in a couple of weeks.

Thanks both my friends. I just try to do what I can. Sometime it goes good, sometimes less.
This time with the 4 ex.cheese clones it seems to go good so far, but I'm experiencing some troubles.
The upper leaves of two clones (just under 600w) show abnormal yellowing. I decided to raise ec till 1,3/1,4 mS/cm at pH 6, let's see what happen.

This picture show the yellowing

picture.php

Al 4 clones show the same signs, but the ones under the bigger lamp (600w) shown signs before the other two clones under the 400w. This made me think they use more nutrient taking them from the leaves. What do you think guys?

However the grow became a cola jungle, a lot of resin coated fatty flowers for 33 days after the switch

Hi noreason
Your garden is coming along great, love your work. You really have dialed it in.

A question for you
I see your plant's roots from previous grows like here
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=5067021&postcount=28

and i see the roots on your newer grows, are they much much better now or just the pictures lie?
What did you change in your setup and you get so perfectly white roots even that they are old and bound a lot?

Crowmax, honestly I can't remember brown roots in my mind, it could be a wrong color in the pic I guess. Those plants were extremely healthy btw, I miss a little that strain

The rdwc system is exactly the same, with same pumps, stones, tubing etc...
Fertilizers are the same.
Only things changed were the lights, so I guess roots just love rdwc, even if they're bounded in a small container.
Don't know how I saved from overflow without using any screen for the return lines, but it seems that roots hate to go were there is a continuously water flow...

Btw....I'm going to make some female seeds out of this strain ;)
