Hash Press Time!!!

R

So I have been slaving over my bubble bags washing fresh, frozen trim. I had a ton of trim to process, and here is the final result!!

I let it dry and cure before pressing. I chose the Jack Puck press from Trim Pro for a easy, affordable press. These are pretty common in BC and can be had for about $250 CAD. The unit its self is pretty solid, and uses a hydraulic jack and solid press. I heat the mould @ 200 in my oven for a few min before use. I press 2 oz pucks and 1 oz pucks.

The 6 oz in the pic are 3 X 2oz, and 1X 1 oz pucks of purple kush trim, and. Very softy and stinky!!

thanks for all the kind words!! i think it was roughly 6 pounds of trim, I fresh frozen. I just used the smallest bag and the biggest bag and went to town. Its all tricombs under the microscope so I am happy.

looks like the use of wax paper? perhaps parchment next time as it may not get imbedded.

nice work.

yep you got it, I used some wax paper to keep the hash from sticking in my press. i am very very impressed with the quality of this thing. It has rectanlge presses as well and a 6ton model. Mine is the 2 ton.

here are some more pucks, you can tell that i dry and mix all the grades together.

420 ohhh yea smoking some jack herrer and kush hash

mmm this kush hash taste soo good and it bubbles when you hold a lighter to it. its very pyable as well. tastes very good. this was my first fresh frozen extraction, no plant matter at all.

this is some diesel hash that is also very good. nice stone and smooth smoke. the bubble was cured for a month or so before being pressed. I still have some loose stuff curing away.

this was some super dry kush that was kept in a cubbord before i got to it. hash has some plant matter in it, but still killer smoke. good stuff to eat, edibles or spicing up some crappy weed.

group shot!! some loose bubble of that kush that was sitting in a cubbord for a while. and a bic lighter for size reference. enjoy!! you can see a plume of smoke in the 3rd pic from my joint.

I found that a 2 ton just gets the job done. I have never used a 1 ton, but a 2 ton works great for pressing 2 oz-4 oz at a time. I guess it also all depends on how large your mould is.

thanks for all the kind words,,k + to u all.

i will be pressing more this weekend. ill take some video and pics of the progress, if I remember lol!

thats basically how i started making my bubble as whenever i would make it in grades my good smoking friend would only want to smoke the 73u. catching all grades in the 25u bag assures uniform grade.

but i think this time around i plant to split it up again, or at least pull the 73u after the 120g for a really clean melty batch...

any chance we can see a puck cut into? :thank you:

here ya go!!

this is the gummy kush broken in 2...eww look how nasty my white laptop keyboard looks!! lol

I will make an HD video of my hash making setup for everyone to see...stay tuned

I used to be a hash fiend and I was down for using all 8 bags, its just that it takes 8-10 hours to process a large amount of trim. Its alot of shaking!!! I normally just eat hash as it is, and it gets the job done. This stuff will bubble, all of my hash does, but its not fmcd.

Thanks again for all the kindwords!! K+ to u all.

Sadly, I don't have any experience with hashish. I know. I know. Anyways, you can just eat it without it being decarboxylated and it gets you stoned? Also, what micron # screen makes the best hash? Finally, would you consider burning some of that in the vid? I'd love to see how it melts. Thanks!

Oh yea, you get right ripped if you just eat a chunk you will get rocked.

Apparently its all different for indica or sativa, the resin glands are different with different strains. I just mix them all together to get a "uniform" looking hash. I have found that as long as its fresh frozen, and you keep the water cold, you will get almost all resin and no leaf.

greenmatter- thanks!!! k+ to u buddy,,,,
