what's wrong with treating a plant with chem?? if someone had ONE plant (like a prized mother plant) and wanted to treat ONE plant in order to save it for the future...i don't see how anyone could be opposed to the use of a chemical spray that would do the trick in that kind of case...yes?? no??? that's a legit purpose...is is it not??

a better question might be-

'what is wrong with the growing environment that chems are deemed necessary' (?)

You (the grower) are the only one that can answer if the use is truly legit or not

update

the no pest strips seemed to work, just scoped, no movement. left um a lil longer than I though but oh well. This was also combined with high heats as I turned off the fan for the strips to work n the temp went up as high as 115 at one point.

before treatment

After a few days of no pest strips n high heat

In the first pic they were moving like a hive of bees, no movement at all second 2. Ima remove the strips now and spray some 3 in 1...

30ml per gal micronized sulfur powder per gal w/ wetting agent up to 21 day has been working for me. I also spray Trifecta sometimes several days after sulfur w/ no burn however I do a water rinse. Gonna start releasin predators after day 21. Chems aren't worth spraying pot isn't profitable enough anymore to play with poison.

mushroombrew will become famous soon enough
All my pest problems over the years have always rode into my garden on clones. So I always quarantine nowadays. Being in Oregon I have access to pesticide testing.
The problem with Broad and Russet mites is their resistance. An experienced nursery man
treats with different chems in rotation. Your average grower buys AVID and sprays three weeks in a row. This can quickly lead to super mites. Especially is no surfactant is used

We never and I mean never use chems in flower. Besides you will never get good coverage. And a mite that only gets a "taste" of the chem can gain resistance fast.

I have shut down completely twice over the years because spraying flowers is dumb imo

Abamectin at 1.18ml/gallon works. And testing shows no residue 45 days post app. Not in flower damn it!!

But I think everybody should learn what mite damage looks like. You can gain control with predators if you notice the mites really early. Experience goes a long way with those little bastards...
