Getting really tall! An extremely fast growing plant with razor thin leaves, I will be using it in other crosses due to the speed of growth.

This genetic has such bushyness! Both plants are female, so it will be a while before I have more space to pop more, to back cross.

Both of these plants are female too! They have not shown much Variegation lately but I’m sure more will pop up in the offspring. #1 has a really nice Creamsicle-orange citrus stem rub. #2 has a little spicyer smell like Lemon and Ginger.

Alebrije and Panama Red

Alebrije and Panama Red

After some consideration, I’ve decided that I would give these to a friend to run outdoors. I have enough seed stock to run these again if I got compelled to, but I find I’m not much of a fan of the Panama Red genetic.

Happy to see Variegation showing more and more with this line. I plan on crossing it to an OG Kush Male for potency and seeing which recessive Variegation shows up in the future.

Dr.Grinspoon

Dr.Grinspoon

The journey... so the first 5 seeds didn’t pop, I dried the seeds out and tried re-germinating without success. the person sent 5 replacement seeds and these also didn’t germinate. I am drying them out and will try scoring the seeds upon re-germination. Really hoping to breed this for an exceptionally large calyx variety.

The Acapulco Gold are now at one of three outdoor locations; Pizza Ranch~ Where Kapala & Santeria will also be grown.

The Oaxacan, Swazi Gold, Kapala, Santeria & First Light are all at ~ Black light Bungalow- where cuttings are about to commence.

Below is a photo of the Swazi Gold going wild :)

Thats too bad about the Dr. Grinspoon, seems like you did everything you could. Were the Dr. Grinspoon seeds on the large side?

They were, no tiger stripes... Just a creamy brown color. I got them through a second party on seed sharing site... Hopefully the other folks who got them get some germination success.

Wow lol, I cracked seeds which fit that description really well just a few days ago. Huge seeds, no tiger stripes, just a creamy brown color, but also no relation at all to Dr. Grinspoon. Good to know theres other folks out there looking for interesting, odd, amusing and potentially valuable features on their plants like enormous reproductive organs. Mega-THC superstrength & huge flavor are just part of the game and sometimes it seems like thats all anyone is really interested in.
Good luck finding your big calyx strain & breeding the seeds up even bigger.

Those look real similar! Are they South East Asain by chance? Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it! There’s so much more to the herb that is just begging to be selected and stabilized. I’m hoping for a brussel sprout sized calyxs, but I’ll be happy if I at least triple the average size.

No, They're 100% Oregonian seeds going back five generations at least, real purebred stuff, its Macob Kush. Its not a long flowering strain like Dr. Grinspoon, so apparently plants don't need extra time to make the bigger seeds, fast flowering strains can do it too.
