What type of lighting is best for new cuttings ?

Should they go under regular vegging lights ?

Thank you.

I have a computer case with 3 fixtures and usually only run 2 - 26W CFLs. I keep my bonsai mom in there as well as using it for cloning and sprouting. I try to run just enough light to clone and sprout but not enough to make "mom" grow too big. That cabinet supplies my closet 250W perpetual SOG.

If you mean unrooted, a single 23 watt cfl will suffice. As soon as you see roots, they're ready for the big lamp. Hang lamp high the first couple of days and place the clones in at "noon" so their first exposure is half a day long.
