From 6 to 4. GT1, GT3, GT4, & GT5 are the ladies. Let's get up close and personal
GT1
She has some nice node spacing. Out of all four she has the second largest spacing. Stem rub is kind of weak. There is one preflower that looks male at the fourth node, I will have to keep an eye on it for the time being.
I'm stoked to see your glue tang, I have moontang and she's a beast out of my 5 bodhi females. Rooted in 9 days cold conditions. I'm planning on crossing her with goji og and chem kesey
I like this girl. Still nothing stinky on the stem rub but she is bushy. Very close internodes and when you get the right lighting you can see the trics shine. She has also been the happiest and easiest to take care of. I did over do some nitrogen recently but she is recovering like a champ. Hopefully she doesn't get that glue stretch. Check her out
The final girl. Just like the other three this one is also weak on the stem rub. GT5 is the tallest and she also has the longest internode spacing. She had the roughest start and it took a minute to find what she wanted. Now she has really taken off and branching out like crazy. Here is contestant number 4 GT5 for your viewing pleasure
The GT4 is my favorite too. Being the shortest one she won't get the best light unless she wants to stretch a lot during flower. I will put her on some pots to raise her up a little. Flip will be in about two weeks. I need to get some clones off of everything first
It is time! It is time! It is time for the flip. Most people won't agree on how I flip new strains but there is a reason for my madness. I fully stress new strains out to see what they can handle. I root bound the plants, hack about 60% of the vegetation off and transplant the night of the flip. The only stress these plants don't get is a bad environment. In order from left to right GT1 and GT3
Now here is what they look like when they are in their final spot. They are topped in freshly set in some nc#3 pots with tupur. They are so much smaller now. I have the 400w hps really far away at first because all these girls has seen is light from a t5 and about two days I'll lower the light to the correct height.
I got clones of all of them and will be testing twice. One stressed run and the other a nice stress free run. The stress run i want to see how stable they are.
Now we are at day 15, and things are looking good. 1,4, and 5 clones rooted and those girls are loving life.
The flowering girls are happy as can be. GT1 and GT4 are doing exactly what I thought they would. Very squat and not much branching off. But flower structure is completely different. GT3 stretched the most and is just like glue in structure(I'm personally not a fan of that at all). Now GT5, she is a beauty. Same flower structure as GT4 but she branched out nicely and about doubled in height. Lots of bud sites on her. As luck goes the most picky girl is turning out to be the best one, which makes me wonder how she will turn out with a complete happy veg and flower life.
