Kidney stones - I think I'm dying. Weed ain't working

That would be lithotripsy & unfortunately it is not a pill. I have had the procedure 3 times to break up stones since I don't ever pass them. I just collect.

If you do pass one & you can collect it, you can take it to a urologist to analyse, which can point to why you are producing them. In my case, it was a benign tumor on a parathyroid gland that was creating an over-production of calcium. A quick slice & dice & that was gone which has stopped my kidney stone machine. Of course, I still have a few old ones (2 in left kidney, 1 in right) which occasionally remind me of their presence.

Good luck. In my case nothing worked for the pain except a bag of Demerol. No amount of cannabis worked & even Oxys barely scratched the surface. A hot bath works for short-term relief.

I went by the docs office and grabbed a stone sifter.
It actually looks like something you make kief with. Lol

Collapsible cup with screen in the bottom. And a stone collection chamber built in to the top.

Hopefully I will pass one soon, to get tested.

Oh my! How long have they been there?
I've got 2 stones in my left kidney that are "deep in the meat" that may or may not move at all, according to my urologist. I'll see him in another 8 months to have an x-ray to see if they have moved or grown. If they've done neither, I'll see him a year after that for the same thing.

If they have grown or moved, he'll do the laser treatment and I'll never feel them.

Unless one or both break loose and move into the ureters. Then I'll be in the ER getting morphine 'cause they're big sumbitches at almost 6mm each.

I passed a 5 mm recently, they said the exit was 7. Just before it blasted thru it stopped the flow! That gets your attention quick. Then it's torpedos away!

doctor suggested to drink beer because it makes you piss more to help get rid of the stones

or some herbal teas

chamomille flower (Matricariae flos),
Birch leaf (Betulae folium),
Curd wheat root strain (Graminis rhizoma),
Peppermint Leaf (Menthae pip. Folium),
Real liquorice root (Liquiritiae radix),
Lovage root (Levistici radix),
Field horsetail infertile shoot (Equiseti herba)
Urticae folium in powdered form. (Urticae folium)

Does it help to drink excessive amounts of water ?

To dilate the tubes where the stones get stuck, so they can make their ways downstream ?

I drink about 24 ounces of coffee and 24 ounces of water every morning, not quite a half gallon.

A few times I've drunk more and gotten nauseous. And there is a condition related to drinking too much water, anaemotropia or something.

But if had a blockage that caused pain like that, I might try to drink more. Like a full gallon.

The one gallon challenge!

..Would actually kill somebody, lol. Don't drink a whole gallon of anything in one sitting.

You'd puke before your stomach ruptured. Hopefully.

Don't think that beer is working good. Yes when u drink u have to pee alot but overall alcohol dehydrates the body what u don't want.
Also get some exercise like dancing, squats or climbing stairs to get the stones loos if your painlevel allows.

I know some drugs are "vaso-constrictors".

Then there are medications that open up muscles that have cylindrical shapes.

e.g. the eye-drops used to dilate your iris before an eye exam where the objective is to look at your retina.

Forget the name though.

How about Viagra ?

Because of the pain I would think/hope there's a bunch of medications that could help open up the pipes between kidney & urethra.

Oh yeah. Pilocarpine.

Related to the eye drops. Active ingredient in Salagen, which has a side effect of increasing saliva flow & tear production.

In some patients it produces enough saliva flow that I would be concerned about them drowning in their own saliva. Maybe better to take it in the morning.

I know one woman who took it and woke up in a pool of Saliva. Her hair was one big Saliva mess.

Still haven't passed it. Today's been alright, mostly just fucking uncomfortable, but not painful.

Thanks for the tips everyone.
