Help!

Hello All you Dear ones,

I am in need of information and assistance.

I recently purchased a Vaporizor...my lungs
are having a hard time handeling true smoke.

I need to know what do I do with all the "Duff"?
(Leftover marijuana).
And, what color is it supposed get to??? I know it is
NOT supposed to be black. Mine is not ,but am unsure
of last color before tossing. I know there is a
taste I DO NOT like (near the end) ...same as in regular smoking.
(burning the marijuana)
I am trying to see how this will help me medicinally.
I have not found good and potent cookie recipes. I
know there is a ton of good recipes out there, where
do I go??? Not just for sweet foods...real suppers etc. :)
Also, I would like to know the names of strains that
have been helpful with Fibromylgia and pain. Coughing
kills my back!!! If there is someone out there
who knows. I do not know if I would be able to find
them or not ... does not hurt to seek. Help.
Oh, and last but not least... recipes for tinctures and/or
salves for pain and comfort of the body. I am a
Massage Therapist (30 yrs now,Hhmmnnn) and
would love to be able to utilize this precious treasure
with my clients who use for medcinal purposes.

Thank you all for your time.
With love and light, hugs too,She Who Seeks Peace

Vaporizer Leftovers are Trash

Vaporizer Leftovers are Trash

After vaporizing, you should toss the stuff, compost it, or whatever. But smoking it over and over again isn't going to do anything for you.

If the vaporizer is setup and used properly all of the THC will evaporate and leave the plant material and be absorbed through your lungs, without smoke. There should be little or no smoke when you exhale...and it shouldn't appear particularly burnt when done, just dried out and kinda browned. Like it's been toasted.

I use a vaporizer that's also a bubbler to cool the vapor even further, making coughing less likely.

As far as strains are concerned, we are collecting information as to which strains do what, and would appreciate your comments after you try different strains.

We started this forum to collect recipes and discuss the effects of cooking cannabis for recreation and medical users, I hope people will actually share their secret recipes with us!

Stay healthy and happy,
Payaso/Chris

cannabutter is the way to go, we have eaten it in everything from my wife's awesome stew, to toffee-topped brownies, to cookies, u name it.

Beats the heck out of those pancakes and brownies this old timer I know used to make (all full of plant matter, lmao).

Of course you wouldnt want to use vape leftovers, but it is an alternative to smoking/vaporizing. (also great with trim, etc.)

There are some threads in this forum, with instructions to make it if u are interested.

Just noticed, seacliff, wow, I was born/raised in Santa Cruz, small world... no longer in the area, miss it like hell (except for the cost of living!!!)

Thankyou

Thankyou

Hello,

Thank you so much for your input.
I was "told" when I purchased my
vaporizor that you could cook with
"duff". thank you for letting me know
NOT to try to re-use for cooking.
EEEWWWWW. I don't like the smell
of the "duff" why on earth would someone
smoke it? Bleech! Pale color--slightly yellow,
this is the color mine becomes. Do other
strains go a different color?

As for the butter... does it smell the house
up when preparing??? I love the smell...
but I have clients that would not approve. ;)

Again, thank you for your time.

P.S. Thanks for the butter idea.

unfortunately it does have somewhat of an incriminating smell while preparing the butter. If you have a fish fryer or bbq grill, it doesnt take real long to prepare, maybe u could do it outside?

thanks for the invite :) I still frequent the area (prunedale/aromas) at least once a month. (all my friends are still down there :( )

i've met a lot of different people with a lot of different ideas on what to do with "vapor duff."

here's what i would do with mine:

keep throwing it all into a big jar.
keep this jar around.

someone will eventually take this jar and this that they've made off with a real good deal.

then you laugh your ass off at above mentioned fool because he smokes vaped trash.

yes,
the best thing you can do with vapor ash is to make idiots out of your friends.

to anyone who just has recipes for sweetes but doesn't like to eat too many cookies or cakes you can make your butter more potent by doubling your herb to butter ratio. cant really be done un one shot though. make butter as you normally would. after straining and while butter is still fluid return to double boiler and add more herb. of course there is a point of total saturtion but i dont know what it is. i've never done this more than two times on a given batch but i can tell you that it works

"Hi" Beans And 00420,

can you give me ratios for cooking???
420 how about your Sis's recipes. can
we get them???
I found a place on the web...Icannot
remeber name but they had "regular"
food recipes. I could not get them to print
and now I can't get there again! :(
Although in cooking or any preperation,
isn't there a very incriminating odor?
This is what I have to avoid. I have other
clients that DO NOT agree with anything
about our medical treasure. Soooo... I will
take any help I can get. For my clients and myself. :)

Massage your feet!!! :) Take care of you.

Golden Triangle

This place seems to conjure up the ghosts of Haight-Asbury's past. In
front there's a head shop where those 18 and over can peruse the
paraphernalia, but it takes a doctor's recommendation to get into the
dispensary in back. Get down with the booming hip-hop while you enjoy
some all-natural baked goods, or just get your medicine and go roam

Hemp Center

As the big red, yellow, and green striped "HEMP CENTER" sign on the
front might suggest, this four-year-old Richmond District
establishment offers more than hemp products. Through a door in the
corner of the storefront (which features a variety of hemp garments)
is a packed dispensary, a spacious lounge, and a healthy smattering of
Bob Marley memorabilia. In one corner, there's a drum set and some
guitar amps, and in the opposite corner, a recently built nursery
houses a decent variety of cannabis plant clones. The staff are eager,
helpful, and willing to accommodate anyone (except maybe the feds).

Love Shack

This little nook off 14th Street may not have much space, but in its
year-and-a-half existence, the club has had a big presence in the
community. First off, it's family-owned and -operated, so at all times
one of the Montana siblings Ryan, Ericka, or Chris is there to
offer medical advice and personal, friendly service. Secondly, it's
offering the best prices in the city for high-quality medicine. The
club is primarily to-go, but patients are allowed to smoke and relax
inside, where the atmosphere remains well lit and aired out. And to
give back to the community, two Wednesdays a month its "Love-Lunch"
program distributes bagged lunches to the needy and homeless in the
area. 502 14th St., S.F. (415) 552-5121. Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-7 p.m.;

Mission Street Caregivers

This place is big and green. Housing the largest selection of plant
clones in the city, as well as a well-stocked case of edibles and
extracts, the club maintains a rather laid-back atmosphere, offering a
big-screen TV, complimentary sodas, and bongs spread out across the
spacious, sterile environment. Socially, the place doesn't seem too
happening, but if you're looking for quick service and early hours,
it's one of the best. 1760 Mission, S.F. (415) 553-7780. Daily, 8
