Extractionking is on a distinguished road
Color has a lot to do with beginning quality of trim and how it was stored. I have a -30 freezer that I keep all my trim in. The longer material sits around it actually degrades and you will blow the chloroplast from the leaf material into the BHO and will get darker oil ig @Extractionkings517

Kootney, I too have the 5 lbs. and grow my own, 100% organic and hand trimmed also, and i was surprised by the dark color of mine as well bc it was vary fresh manicured nugs we ran. we simply cannot figure out why??? but I have a theory, I too tried to dehydrate my material on a best value vac and chamber without any heat added and i believe this drying process speed the the decarb more than we would expect.
