In a 5 gallon pot 3/4 of a cup of blood meal and cup of bone meal will make a good flowering mix. Make sure you add some perlite for drainage as well.

Smokey, Glad you like the Lifestar so far. I found my seedgrown bud to be very potent and tasty. I prefer it to Lifesaver actually and so you will probably enjoy yours as much as I did. I should send you some SB3 seeds for next years growers cup entry.

I need to start planning ahead...420 isnt easy to win but perhaps I can do it. BOG

Thanks bog. I was gonna use just a half cup of each. I dont wanna overdo it this time. Ive got Bogglegum clones and seeds going.

Have you heard of the new "sweet" by botanicare for flowering? Its like a carbo load ands its supposed to improve taste. Would you use it?

Here's a few nug shots - first up is what I think is the wrinkly leaf pheno aka plant 1

Then there is plant 8, which has nice quality but wasn't as large as the others

Finally, plant 2 - the keeper aka the Madman.

I dont keep a scale anymore, but I filled 4 16 oz Ball Jars with premium nugget, no stem, no bullshit. Straight Dope

Damn man mighty fine job! Those first few pics look like the buds are almost white... im sure theres some green under those crystals somewhere though! You definately did these plants right! Was that just with blood and bone meal?

Thanks, prolly just a little different lighting, but they are crystally fo sho - early samples indicate this is happy pot.

I expected couchlock but that is not the case, which is fine by me. Great taste right now, cant wait to see how it develops.

I dont use either of those, I dont like to complicate matters since I use a full spectrum of stuff. I use Advanced Nutes Iguana Juice Organics, Big Bud synthetic supplement and Carbo Load - all in Pro Mix adjusted to ph 6, CO2 enriched also.

In veg I use the Iguana Juice veg and also beneficial fungi and bacteria.

Yeah, I would give it a try immortal. Botanicare has already shown to be a good outfit from what I have seen. I dont have any personal experience with it however so let us know.

Watching this thread with interest. Wonder if I can nominate one of your pics for pic of the month? Since it is one of my strains someone else should do it.

OK OK I'll give you a little more. It's dry already, and in jars. I stand by my Sour Milk Cappucino description on the smell, and the high is great. I love it since I have only been smoking sativa lately. It is very relaxing, but can be devastating if you smoke too much like I always do (2 hits will do), defintely happy pot. I have found myself busting out laughing on a few different occasions while smoking it. You can also blame that on the idiot Larry David and also the Jackass skit where the coffin falls out of the hearse. That is pure comedy. The madman pheno is very tight, and would have been tighter if not for such high ambient temps lately. It was 90+ outside for most of this run. So the box was in the same range. In my past experience, 4 16oz jars equates to roughly 3 oz, which is satisfying for a 150HPS. Keep in mind, this is A 150HPS that did this

Well, that and CO2, AN and the BOG genetics - Big Up!

I was very surprised by the high too. I expected a couchlock type high, but, it was clean and focused. Easy to read on and very euphoric/giddy high. Unless I smoked more than one big hit. Then "I am not responsible for what happens next feeling." I harvested at 48 days + 48 hrs darktime. Must be the reason. If let go longer perhaps it gets more couchlock.

It took 3 weeks for smells to really start to develop when in the jars. All smelled sort of sour/sweet/bright citrus/bubblegum with a tiny bit of skunky. Except for one that smelled like barely anything until you broke it open (via scissors). Maybe it just sealed the goodness in while curing. Anyway the others by a month and a weeks curing were really starting to smell amazing. One jar would fill a room very quickly.

I grew out 6 sb bx2 females. Topped once, vegged for about 6 weeks. Used gh nutes and AN supplements. Some co2 in flower. 3 gallon pots. Fucked up a few times. Stressed them, underwatered overwatered etc. (first grow). Did not train them. Had a total of 22 females (diff strains) in one room with 2k watts hps. The yield on average for the 6 sour bubbles was 1.6 oz dried/cured. Highest yielder was 2.1oz and lowest was .96oz.

Next grow will be almost all sour bubbles. With some F-13 (djshort) and a cross of Killer Apollo(female)(crazy branchy bitch pineapple smell) x Sour Bubble(male)(looked similar to Bogs SB mom and had a airplane glue smell when rubbed)
