Just curious, but if I do this one outdoors this year - will it flower under 18/6 light? Can I clone from this photoperiod?

Any issues vegging it under lights and putting it outside? I had a problem with Serious 6 last year - plants started flowering and then stopped putting them out late May. Went from 24/7 -> 18/6 2 weeks and then outdoors.

Any recommendation there?

I like to put them out as large as reasonably possible.

Hi fella!
You can clone and you could also keep it as a mother...
I think the best option is growing them indoor with the complete cycle, (veg and flowering) to get the best mother, taking the clones from her.
You can give them a vegetative time indoors and you can put them outside in the final place in May or early June and I'm sure you will get big plants without problems.
Don't forget to share your experience if you decide to grow this nice variety :)

Hi!
the only problem is the cold Temperatures and maybe the amount hours of light.

Can you tell me how many hours of direct sunlight do you have?
Cheers!

I grow in full sun... my spot is excellent for the region. About as good as it gets in Canada.

Avg temp is around 15C in Sept. We've been having warmer Sept's than that though. There are a tonne of micro climates in my area because of the mountains. I've run Anesthesia from Whaz successfully multiple years here but there are no more seeds available it's a Herijuana x Super Skunk hybrid.

http://www.timeanddate.com/sun/canada/victoria?month=8&year=2016

There's a chart for the area (daylight)... I'm not in Victoria but I'm not that far away.

It's a 7b (red) on the plant grow zone chart for my country if that means anything to you.

Ok mate, thank you ;)
I believe you can grow any of our varieties in your region.
It would be nice to see your diary here in the Sweet Seeds subforum so we can help you :)

Small update, will take a picture soon. So far so good though.

One big "problem" however... it's growing too fast lol.

Seriously though at this point it is gonna be way too big for my tent in a couple months.

Will be taking a clone/topping so that should slow it up a bit.

Cheers my friend!

Yes, that's the right thing to do, taking cuts from the taller branches. Then if you need extra plants you can root the cuts. Or you can also do some LST to lower the taller branches and get more of a bushy plant. If you have good climate in late April maybe you could but it outdoors earlier than usual this year, but that's up to you and if you had positive experiences in the past years then it's really better to repeat the procedures that led you to the positive results.

Keep us updated. All the best and sweet smokes! :peppermintstick:

Yeah, I'm going to do a little manipulation - it should actually be all good. Going to run a couple of these in my bigger plots. Possibly more elsewhere.

I actually started them pretty early to get clones and still have big healthy plants when the mom goes out because she will...

Thing is almost as tall as me. It's a beast. Just wondering if I can toss it outdoors yet or will she start flowering? Was hoping to last till 1st june. Getting too tall.

Alright here we go.. long overdue.

A little root porn to start things off, this was transplanting from a #5 to a 7 gallon container as it was getting a bit rootbound as you can see:

3 weeks ago, probably would have been bigger than this but I let it sit and get root bound... oh well, I don't think it will be too much a problem:

And here she is today:

My dog is about 150lbs for the record. It's gonna be a pretty large girl by the time all is said and done I think.... what do you say? :D

And finally, think it'd be ok to put out now? Around what timeframe does she like to start flowering? 14hr, 15hr light?

i am going to try this version this season and i find myself anxious trying these sweet seeds fast versions....

i am a bit skeptical with these Frankenstein genetics(lol).... x'ing auto's with s1's and all...

this will be my first attempt with any female seeds as they scare the crap outta me...mainly afraid of seeing nanners... so this should be exciting....

also doing the killer kush fast version, and sweet special fast version.... i will be sure to keep all posted ...

Thanks for the kind words. Not so worried about nanners because of the fem seed thing... there's no real evidence to support those who say they're the devils work.

More worried about nanners because of the light cycle thing though. Had this problem with Serious 6 last year so that worries me, but not too much. I only took a single clone to keep around in case it's a worthy plant for the outdoors here. I'm gonna run this beast as is otherwise. Basically topped once and that's it.

I have a 10x10x18" bed for this girl for the season. She's going outside full time probably on Thursday.

It did kind of want to start flowering when I put it outside, kind of hiccuped a little bit. Pushed a couple pistils but then it went back to veg pretty fast. Now it's about 7ft tall with at least another month of veg to go. :D

I'm happy. Really nice structure on this plant too.

It actually started flowering not very long after I wrote that last post. It's not pretty well in and I can't complain. It's gonna yield at least a lb, probably more. I can't get my hand around the stem. Will get pics in the next day or two.

Reeks like bubblegum, straight up bubblegum. Smells delicious ;)

Smells like bubblegum, nice early frost.

Gonna be big long colas. Yield should be large.

Stem almost as thick as my ankle. Not too bad.

Some more close up.

She was topped once, grows like a tree - did not expect her to flower in early July but I will take it as they should be done in August with any luck and the sun is amazing then! They smell good and the weather should be nice.
