All it takes is MMJ patients to ban together to tell the state that the 'proposed' $50 annual fee be scrapped!! Over 12,000 MMJ patients in NM, many saying they cannot afford the $50 a year for license. YAY!!

GOOD FOR NEW MEXICO!

Personal production license you can have up to 12 seedlings and grow up to four mature female plants. Of the approx. 12,419 patients, over 4000 grow their own.

24 licensed licensed producers.

(taken from 12/3 ABQ Journal article an elder friend sent me).

New Mexico's state motto "Crescit eundo"...."It Grows As It Goes". Tongue and cheek, but so true!!

Go NM! See what happens when people gather together? Anything is possible!!

Stricter regulations on applications for personal production licenses, including a public database of where and who is growing. Im not sure how that protects patients. Several new dispensaries have been approved and are gearing up to open their doors. In a public poll close to 60% of voters are in favor of full legalization yet elected officials refuse to even consider it. Seems the state is intent of on micromanaging and hindering the will of the people. Wish Gary Johnson would run for governor again...

Start a petition by & for the people.
If There's truly 60% of the people ready for legalization then the guvnor cannot stop it.
Ammend the States Constitution as CO has done but without writing in arbitrary regulations.

Didn't mean to bump this post but I read this and wanted to clarify what was said.

"The Department has not proposed and does not intend to remove the confidentiality provision concerning Personal Production License (PPL) holders (i.e., enrolled patients who hold licensure to grow medical cannabis for their own use); and such information will remain confidential in accordance with the patient confidentiality provision of the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act, at NMSA 1978, § 26-2B-7(G)." https://nmhealth.org/about/mcp/svcs/pdb/

Only non-profit producers are publicly listed. A patient that is a personal producer is not publicly listed and is still under the protection of the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act, all of your information in the NMDoH is still listed as confidential. :)
