lighting controller ballast plugs

Just a quick question:

If rewiring the input on a lighting controller from 120v to 240v, do I have to switch all ballast power cords to 240v too?

Or.. Could I use 120v to 240v plug adapters? (which doesn't seem much different than using the original 120v cords?)

Any help much appreciated!

EDIT: Disregard this post. Emailed the controller manufacturer and received the following response:

Hello.

All four codes are 110-220 available.
You don't have to change it.
