How is Longtime Organic Pellets done? Can i make own?

Moment ago i find out that my GrowShop sell Bat Guano Pellets.
Longtime use.

High P Guano pellets

I was thinking about get some ASH pellets. I cant find any.

I wish make organic longtime PK booster with Ash and Guano pellets.

Guano pellets is no problem find here.
Ash i must make self i think.
How can i make own pellets? Use Ash .
can i make pellets home ?

Use a mask if you make them. Small micro particles of bat poop and ash....not good for lungs, and likely to cause infection.

In my experience pellets release the nutrients only slighty slower then loose powder.
I prefer pellets and also granules because they make less dust. Not because they are that much slower. A couple off waterings and they have all fallen apart.

If your mind is set on making pellets you'll need the raw ingredients and also a press to make pellets.

Best in my opinion is to check out the organic fertiliser section in your regular garden center. Lots of good product which you can get a big bag from for only a couple bucks.

Have no idea how to make them. I think a dry slow release DIY concoction without pellets is the way to go. Good luck!

Thank you all alot.

Making own pellets is overkill maybe ?

If you grow indoors you are happy with powder nutrients.
You can also make tea mix easy.

Pellets is maybe outdoor use for old roses and bushes that dont need manual watering ?

Canna indoor grow is alot about watering.
Like Cvh says, pellets dont hold long when you need water alot.

i stay to normal powders and liquids now i think.
Feeding both ways, water mix tea sometimes, and in soil from start

Make no cook oatmeal with them.

my father had alot of success with using them pellet for outdoor we are in talks to use them in soil mixes im gonna gave to experiment

Yes i believe Pellets is best if you grow outdoor.

i need read about oatmeal.

Use the information:

heat
steam
pressure

I guess you should be able to grind up material hang it over some steam and then press it and cut the plate into pieces.

Pretty much similar to making hash

Also dampening, pressing and using a dehumidifier should work nicely.

This would be like making fruit or cereal bars.

Chickens do that already.


Another way is to use soil with high cec.
Something that will loosely cling to your nutrients.

That's why I use zeolite.
Some argue it has too much aluminum, but that's a different argument.
You can use different amendments to the same effect. Pumice, char...SPM instead of coco. One reason to let new soil cook. It gets everything charged up.
Use different meals that release nutrients at different rates. These are your slow release fertilizers.
