How long has this problem been going on? About 2 weeks

What STRAIN are you growing? Various bagseed, most affected plants are believed to be GrapefruitXBurmese, but the problem is not restricted to them

What was the establishing technique? Seed

What is the age of your plants? 51 days from seed

How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now? About 37 days

How Tall are the plants? Between 2.5 and 3 feet

What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? 1 st week of flower

What Technique are you using? LST, fimmed several of them once several weeks ago

What size pots are you using? 2 gal, one plant per pot

What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil
mixture are you using? 2/3 FOx Farm Happy Frog, 1/3 Ocean Forest

What Nutrient's are you using? GH Biothrive for veg until 1.5 weeks ago, currently GH Biothrive for flower.

How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? 4 tsp per Gallon, during veg it was slightly lower, we only fed for the last 2 weeks of veg

How often are you feeding? Every 2nd or 3rd watering

If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? During the first several days of flowering

What order are you mixing your nutrients? Umm, seperately... we haven't mixed veg nutes for a few weeks

What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? ? It's my first grow

What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? ? I can check during next water

What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? None, though strips are at hand

How often are you watering? Every 3 days or so right now

When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? About an hour after the pics were taken yesterday, every 2nd or 3rd watering

What size bulb are you using? 600w HPS

What is the distance to the canopy? About 12''-14''

What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) ?

What is the canopy temperature? ?

What is the Day/Night Temp? About 76-82 with lights on, about 65-67 with lights off

What is the current Air Flow? A fan blowing out the door

Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? The fan blows out the door for 12 hours, and not at all with lights off

Is the fan blowing directly at plants? One is, yes. Though more so at the light

Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? No, we water when the first 2 inches feel dry

Is your water HARD or SOFT? City water...

What water are you using? Tap

Are you using water from a water softener? No

Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? LST last night and fimming once a few weeks ago

Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? Neem oil every 2 weeks

Are plant's infected with pest's? Not visibly

Ok, basically we've been noticing these little rust colored spots on some of our leaves. In some cases it goes through the leaf, but it's never in any real pattern. We thought that maybe the plants were transpiring due to the lack of airflow with lights off and burning once the light turned on, but we're really grasping at straws. Hopefully the pics can tell you better than I can.

Thanks everyone for looking, it was hard to really show it under the hps, but in combination with this, one of the more afflicted plants has a claw leaf problem. Like several of them have folded in upon themselves around the main vein in the finger leaves if that makes sense. Both problems showed up around the same time.

Cal or MG def is what we're thinking, but we'd hate to correct a problem that might not actually be taking place.

You should test your pH, if for no other reason than ruling it out. It is the easiest problem to correct.

Also have they been in the 2 ga pots the whole time, or did you transplant them before flower?

Ph is going to be tested asap, they've been in these pots for almost a month, I know they're probably getting tight on the roots, but I'm not too excited about the lower leaves and so far they're only thirsty every 3 days or so

it looks like cal.deficency or maybe ph trouble.did you let them dry out and wilt.if so its most likly the problem.

You may want to re-pot into larger containers, but it will slow growth during flower. Also dolomite lime wouldn't be a bad idea. Ideally if you are going to re-pot do it about a week or so before you flip em. Good luck and keep on growin!!

jyme: We let them dry out a bit before we LST'd them, but the problem was showing a little while before that.

cobcoop: Thanks! I know they could use larger pots, uneven growth due to random strains caused us to flower a bit later than we had planned, but it may be too late now as we've been flowering since 2 Tuesdays ago. dolomite you say? PH is being tested today, I'm not near the plants right now.

Yeah dolomite lime will help to eliminate pH problems, but still a good idea to keep an eye on it (pH). As far as the pots go, it's not necessarily that the pot is too small (depends on your setup), but it may be beneficial to start out in smaller pots, then transplant going into flower so the roots can grow unabated during the first few weeks of flower.

Anyway for your 1st grow it looks great! Have fun, and welcome to the addiction.
