So I wanted to start a journal to document everything- Ive been reading threads and learning a lot of great info here over the last month or so-i will be updating my journal as and when- as i have a mind to forget things and this journal can keep me up to date with my progress thanks for looking and sharing- well got all the girls planted today 10.8.11 have my temperature at 27c and my water set at 5.8ph my rh is at 65 so heres my little grow for the next few months . Well today we go 12x12 considering that the date is now the 25.9.11 ec bumped up to 1.2-1.4 total water change top to bottom ph remains at 5.9 rh is at 65.all things looking good at present time another little update today is the 11,10.11 plants are looking nice and healthy the stretch seems to have slowed, things starting to fill out bud sites appearing now im happy plants are at least four foot high stripped a few fan leaves of yesterday as it was getting overcrowded in there but plenty of air movement no signs of ill looking plants- so i guess i must of getting things right Well i guess i was wrong about the stretch they have grown at least another two inch over night but i suppose thats good all tests ph rh ec all in check not sure how i upload photos to this journal so for now they remain on memory stick-Well today i start using the pk 13 14 for the first time never used it before so i hope its as good as its says todays date 16-10.11 everything going according to plan and these atamis are ever so easy to use, im glad i went on to hydro so much less mess than soil but still have a few in soil too for the time being.

Thanks for the support guys well decided to take the cool tube down last night as it seemed that there was not enough light getting to the bottom of my mini jungle -my mistake- and i can honestly say that i can see a major difference, light wise, since putting the adjusterwing back up. everything still going to plan and the growth in hydro is amazing, thanks to a lot of excellent info on this site, i wont be going back to soil after this, it is a lot easier than i would of imagined and without the knowledge of this site i would still be humping soil around so once again thanks. photos as requested not the best but photos all the same thanks again

onwards and upwards final crop weight ended up being just under 15 oz so very happy no more buying from the street again at least not for a while couple of pics to finish off

Time for a little photo update and any advice guys as im still learning the ropes turned these on the 13,12.11. ec is at 1.4 to 1.6. ph at 6.2 and rh at 55. getting rather crowded in there now. no signs of deficiency. Im wondering if i should deffoliate as very little light is reaching the bottom of the plants and they are thickening up real fast.

Great job on the first harvest. I think you did very well. Definitley defoliate those girls. I've been thinking about switching to a similar system so this is a very good thread for me to follow, thanks! On another note, did I miss the strain name? I read it twice, am I really that stoned?

thanks socialist for your advice on the deffoliate part and the name of them is black russian from a seed company which is not involved with ic mag so dont think its a good idea for me to broadcast there name hope that helped bro. ps also took 15 cuttings from them all rooted well.

Its to cool to talk about breeders not affiliated with the site. They just can't advertise there wears personally.

I just noticed in the last pic that you have an extremely tall plant in the back left. I would suggest gently bending the stem to bring the height down so that you have a more even canopy and you will get more light to the top of that plant with out having to raise your light and deprive the rest of them. Not sure how well this strain bends but on most strains I've worked with it is possible to achieve close to a 90 degree angle.

Picture update and these are realy stinking proper sticky but very little frost on them what i can see . Had to deffoliate again today. temperatures remain the same ph was actually a little off today was down to 5.5 so knocked it back to 5.9 to 6.0. added a little bit of liquid silicone rh is now at 5.3 added no nutes apart from the pk 13 14. ec staying in between 1.4 to 1.6 no signs of nute burn so all in all things going to plan.
