Hi Folks,
it's been awhile since i been here to post. after shutting down by force a decade ago. I made a comeback attempt last year with some clones. blue dream, green crack, ak47 and master kush. the plants were grown mainly with 3/4 9 -11 watt leds. they made great veg lights as i needed more time because i was afraid of a interruption to halt the grow. they were some of the prettiest plants i could ask for. even the runt ak47 i was patient with became a great comeback story.

Well, broad mites whipped my ass took everything i threw at them and then laughed in my face. if i had a magic wand i'd supersize a few at a time to give them a taste of morbidity. yes, i read all manner of contradictory info to deal with them. the plants couldn't take it and only got worse. if it's halloween and u dress as a broad mite and i see u expect to get beat down provided no witnesses are around ha.

So, that was then and this is now. I'm gonna try to sneak a grow in and if super fortunate make a small batch of seeds on some lower branches. seeds aren't a priority but if i can make it happen i'll save some pollen for the first attempt at freezing if i get that far.

lineup is old school and new school.

1. 8 ea. Grand daddy purple clone mom x URANIUM CRANIUM male/s
The UC was created/made by Mole yes, that's not a typo. the UC females were hit with various males and made some good crosses at least 3/4 if i recall. all named like so aneurysm, concussion, & flatline. i thought it was one more but i could be wrong as i had a mental/physical breakdown of sorts so my once high level computer brain is more like an old mac book that's glitchy lol.

2. 7 ea. (Butterscotch Hawaiian x G13/HP) x Conquistador = i told u old school lol. if u been around long enough, you know who made these beans and then gifted them widely. nuff said

3. 7 ea. Warrior's Tonic = Warrior’s Tonic is a 1:1 ratio seed created by crossing Warrior Kush THC with Mae Cannatonic CBD

4. 7 ea. Cap’n Shiva’s Crunch Berries = Shiva Skunk x (Bruce Banner#3 x Afghani) F2

the newer stuff is a chance to have some interesting puff as well as an opportunity to find my own cbd solution i can truly use. my sis will be on board cause she has all sorts of issues like i do just different. i doubt i'll ever have enough space to take on a couple patients in need. dispensaries here charge to much and rarely offer good cbd cultivars. :moon:

Since i'm an Ex- jarhead i wanted to run some gear offered by a fellow jarhead = semper fi :ying: he's a good dude and does help us vets like he says.

so, dropped them in colored cups a few hrs ago. time to clean up the nursery. i'm so glad it's pretty clean already. i'm tired as fuck = depression and just did 9 weeks straight of 5 days ea week of radiation for prostate cancer. So, pain is my main thin not associated with cancer. Yet. if the CBD can kick cancer in the head, throat and cajones i'll take that too. ijs

this grow won't be picture heavy but I will try to show all stages once they are up and running. too tired to do hevy details/text. yes, i ramble but in this case it serves to illuminate my fellow stoners on this marathon i'm runnin. :thank you:

p.s. ok i'm still stoned and tired as fuck. so forgot to mention a bit on how this run might go.

not sure if i'm going to go 12/12 out the gate but that decision will be made soon enough. 2 weeks veg from seed will be max because time window to get done is small.

veg/clone nursery small closet. light = ? small led's / 4 ft fluorescent/ 250 mh if it works. will be grabbing that soon to test it.
1 flower tent = gorilla shorty 4 x 4

600 hps digi lumatec old style not dimmable. it barely has miles on him.

medium will be coco coir. with an option of added perlite and grow stones for more aeration.

pot size approx. 2 gallon

nutes = CNS coco line too bad they phased out old formula. it was too perfect and cost effective with great results. well, they fixed that smdh.

exhaust fan = VENTS-US
327 CFM Power 6 in. Energy Star Rated Mixed Flow In-Line Duct Fan

air cooled hood 6" name later

rapid rooters and groclone on deck

i need to decide on small circulation fan for the tent but they all suck lol
i also need accurate temp and humidity meter but most of them suck too grrr

all the old school seeds have sunken, while the new breed still has maybe 12 seeds to drop. room temp approximately 85-90 in the kitchen.

pita nobody said it'd be easy

pita nobody said it'd be easy

OK, so tossed all the rooters that i tried to sprout the seeds with in the trash. all seeds left are between coffee filters = my version of paper towels .
so, will check them in 3/4 days ones that got put in 1st i'll check in 2 days.

new jumping spider in the creature cage. :dance013:
i put water in a small cap with fake plant inserted to prevent drowning. spider IS named GOLDEN CHILD and will be released in a couple days.
pics i took of it somehow disappeared grrrr smdh.

i like other spiders but these have been my fave since i was a kid. plus they rarely bit and if they do the bite can't do shit. bite site = local red/puffiness.

So, back to these green Squirts, they are doing ok, one straggler/mutant has it's own light for now didn't take a pic though.

not much to see. more old seeds are in water and will be transferred to coffee filters today as they have soaked a couple days now.
uranium cranium x sour bubble #3 and aurora indica
will drop some more warrior tonic as well as cap'n crunch berries. they both should do much better this time. no old rapid rooters ever again.

Thanks dank frank,
i've had like a decade off because i was living on the fringe of the fringe of society. now just back to the normal fringe. ha lol

this hasn't been easy trying to pop old seeds and going back to the old tried and true ways when i pull out some more soon. 3 plants were going left really fast. i tore off bad leaves to the main stem. and i'll be damned after a nute fix i have new growth. that's why i don't kill shit until i give them a serious chance at recovery.

shop light is above them now 1 led on each side and a cfl in the middle front side. i'll see if that last led makes it a bit brighter and switch them out if so. about to test 250 mh to see if it works and transplant from cups into a pot large enough to allow them to grow so they can be cloned.

Hey after the issues i had i'm just fortunate they are starting to recover so i can't complain. will let them dry out then do the transplant and if the MH works they will blow up under that. i'll take the tops of each and sex them if they don't show under 18/6 which is my overall veg and sexing light schedule. i get inspected so i need to keep the moms small enough to put into a bucket to hide them. 1st big inspection was just the other day, then comes another in a couple months and not sure about the 3rd. were it not for inspections i'd be going full tilt with my tent grow already.
like Nipsey Hussle says "i'm always on my grind": i just accept what i can't change and keep scratching like a good bulldog should.

so here are the runts used to call pam trees cause they had no lower vegetation for awhile. love that i found out what the issue was and it wasn't the borg on turbo = broad mites.

1st 6 picks will be from awhile back and then will show recovery pics. i still need to put them on computer because i can't sign in on the phone and i don't know why. before i signed in and couldn't download the pictures. now i can't even sign in. this is after i unhid my password. smdh :comfort:

Update 3 little pigs

Update 3 little pigs

Well, this has been a pita to do so far but
But at least things are getting better with the pigs. Obviously a vast improvement over the state they came to be looking like sick palm trees.

In the mean time the 250 mh was tested and works still. It wasn’t used much at all then retired a decade ago. It saved me from buying a small quantum board for the time before being. So, i’m Set for veg and clone light at least.

I am dancing around ducking inspections so waiting them out the lights went 12/12 a couple days ago and today seems 2 pfvthe 3 are girls. I imagine that will be fully confirmed in another week and the last one should show sex by then as well.
Both girls seem they are from the same strain and the 3rd one is obviously very different. There was an accidental dropping that caused the current identification issue.

No biggie as the 3 pigs will all get topped to make mom’s and if the 3rd is a dad he’ll go into veg schedule 24-0 small led’s And shop light above. He’ll wait to donate pollen I will use and save as well. Never done that so this will be my first pollen save attempt.

So, that’s the skinny to this marathon so far.

3 Pigs growing up

3 Pigs growing up

Well, the 3 little pigs ain’t so little anymore. Approx height 28-30” from bottom of the trunk.

Took tops of each as all were growing into the shop light. Raising would only lesson meager light intensity = shop light and 3 9w led bulbs. Most of their growth didn’t have the shop light just to give those 3 leds due credit.

I used rooting powder this time. I also took at least one one cut from each to stick right into water to root.
All are getting ambient light only.
The water cuts are enclosed in a plastic bag with air holes.

All tops were soaked in water 1/2 filtered and 1/2 plain tap left 48 hrs to gas off. Placed in fridge and then allowed some time to let water adjust so as not to shock the cuts.
Water cuts aren’t soaked at all just cut and straight into water.

You ca. See some trichs on stems and a couple leaves. Light is 24 hrs except for being sexed in approx 10 days then back to 24 hrs light.

Total 6 clones = at least 2 per pig. One being the primary mom candidate and 1back up.

If I have to i’ll Trash the big ones. So, that’s why the backups are in progress now. House inspections suck. Done with most important one and 2 more to go. I get advance notice but time in between is a real hassle.

I plan to go balls to the wall when the coast is clear and run clones offvtgese moms and pop a few more beans. Veg them and load up 12/12 with maybe a 3/4 days to clean and load up a final round before stopping.

I hope to keep an elbow to stop buying puff. Use the rest to Bank up for a scooter. That scooter will help me score an outdoor location eventually. Two outdoor spots = 2-4 pounds. 8oz good bud ea. 8 plants. Anything extra is just gravy. 1/2 harvest is still a win.

Update 5 last one for now

I won’t use the groClone until it’s party time so, these two ways I can hurry and break down much faster than breaking down the cloner.

OK folks,
I'm confused between two handles both of which are me. = couldn't recall how to get in...
so, I WONDERED WHY I SAW NO EDIT FOR THE POSTS I just updated. i wanted to apologize for the picture orientation that doesn't happen at another spot. hell i'm just glad i figured out how to post on the phone. the key is you have to hit back to go to the original post page. then it shows you the page like normal and you can hit submit. anything else you do just won't work.

@swapmeet thx. did u always have that handle back when u joined or did u change like i did ? i know how to avoid big drama now and stay pretty quiet so i said why not come back keep my head down as usual and see what happens.

wrap up of stage 1 of the Marathon

wrap up of stage 1 of the Marathon

Ok. so it turned out to be a wash and got my first plants to herm like a mutha. never had herms before so i was mad as fuk.

a light leak, not noticed when checking light from being seen from outside was the culprit.
so that was taken care of for this current run. i also sealed a potential light leak just in case it was also a contributor as well as blocking a boarded window just for insurance and peace of mind.

i'll just toss up some pics in flower and finished micro popcorn buds that are curing now. puffed a jay of the 1st one to get cut down. and had the larfiest larf lol in the kif box to sample.

i will admit that the sample puff is pretty good and does seem to have cbd effects to it.
both from purpose genetics :
warriors tonic is "mae cut" of cannatonic x warriors kush both cultivars clocking 22%.

the other is capn shivas crunch berries. regular thc cultivar
