Planted rootbound seedlings strains from 2 1/2 gal pots 3 weeks ago. I believe they were a little nitrogen deficient from the prolonged stay in the pots. These are the most recent pictures of the garden and plants. Any help of what you may think the problem is would help.

Amendments to 25' x 13' garden bed
25 lb bag of BioLive from down to earth
5 lb bag insect frass
4 lb bag of azomite
2.5 lb bag of garden gypsum from Epsoma
25 lb Bag of earthworm castings

It is definitely a mobile nutrient lockout or deficiency - N, P, K or Mg, because it moves from the lower leaves up. More likely K from the look of the leaves.

The question then is which of the two - lockout or deficiency.

What is the drainage like?

If you dig a little deeper in the soil, what does it smell like - earthy or rotting, which would indicate a low pH, which would cause mobile nutrient lockout. The soil would have to be aerated and drained more.

If, not, then the plant has just been growing well and has used up the plant available nutrients. They might need more NPK and Mg.

Also, it helps in organic growing to add something that has calories in it, like fat, protein and starch. Oat flakes, non-GMO corn, soy, etc. No more than would be sprinkled on the soil in nature. This fuels the micro life which turn organic nutrients into more frass or fungal networks.

Your answer is in your first sentence. They were rootbound when you transplanted. Did you loosen the roots before planting ? If not and it was a really tight pot before transplant then the roots are probably still not spreading out.

I'd water them with a tea or fish emulsion or whatever is available dissolved into the watering can. Containing lots of nitrogen, lesser amounts of P and K. It'll take them another week or two to grow the roots to absorb the nitro out of the new soil. Until they do they'll stay deficient, pulling nitrogen from the leaves to grow the new roots. If they're root bound they'll be deficient in everything else as well. They need less of it in Veg but they still need it. A ratio of 2-1-1 or 3-1-1 or 3-2-2 would do it. The nutrients in soil take longer to break down and feed the plants then the immediately available food you give them through the watering can.
