when doing the flushing

Hi! I’m cultiving a royal gorilla strain with a 250w hps lamp, in a all mix soil and I was wondering when it’s time to do the flushing. I hope the photos I’ve taken (with The lamp on) are clear, what do you think? Thank you

has flushing not gone the way of the dodo bird round here?

most of the science i read these days suggest ferting right up till the very end, tho if one knows the exact chop date what could it hurt to miss the last ferting?

The flowering phase started in mid December! I’m feeding with 1ml fish mix 3 ml bio bloom and 2 ml top max when do you suggest to start flushing?

That would be around 3 weeks of flower(did you start counting from switching light or first pistils?)

Royal gorilla description says 8-9 weeks of flower so we'll assume 9-10... In about 4 to 5 weeks you could start flushing. (If you started counting from switch)

Hard to guess the ideal time to flush as I never grown this strain but there are things to look for... As the buds/plant matures the hairs will start to brown up then the calyxes will swell and trichomes will go from clear to clear/cloudy mix to mostly cloudy then you can flush...

Flushing too early can starve your plant too soon and hurt your yield a little

I don’t remember maybe I switched few days before mid December! Thank you

You should have a calendar or a journal to keep track of things. I usually flush for 2 weeks. I used to use cleared, and flush with that for 5-7 days. Speaking of calendars I better update mine.

In general its a safe bet any strain will go 10 weeks, unless you are dealing with an an extreme sativa, then who fucking knows it could be 6 months of flower.

I think you should flush in about 2 to 3 weeks if you're growing a typical 8 to 9 week strain. :tiphat:

Good Luck. :)
