Virgin Grower Goes Coco

Well, relative virginity I guess you could say. I have grown a few plants but I'm still very green, as they say.

This grow was inspired by information I've gleaned from having read DJM, HGO, Dr Bush, and countless other experts both on ICMAG and a plethora of other forums. So thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us prospective growers.

I decided to attempt coco multi-feeding. And we're nearing harvest. A few cliff notes would be:

*1 gallon pots fed 6 times per day with Canna Coco nutes; A+B, Zym, Boost, PK.
EC is around 1.4 atm. Got a little tip burn which I assume was from a pump failure allowing the medium to get too dry and the EC to spike. At least that's what I've read might be the cause. There's also slight tacoing from high heat.

*pH is always between 6.0 and 6.2.

*Had fungus gnats but treated with Neem oil and they're almost eradicated.

*Strains are unidentified. Three seem very similar in their indica-dominant appearance, the other seems much more sativa-leaning.

*Lighting is 400w Bridgelux LED. Fixture is just mdf with holes cut for the chip and optics.

Any questions, comments or suggestions are more than welcome.

my guess is your nutes are just a touch too strong considering you're feeding 6x/day. that is my guess on the bit of burn.

how are you feeding? drippers?

Yep just droppers. You’re probably right about the nute strength. I’ve backed it off and the tip burn seems to have stalled which is good.

Thanks.
