Looking for advice....

Hello all

This is my first post and first REAL grow.... I have followed Coots recipe with some decent successb although IMO, i didn't think it matched the necessary npk values needed to grow 100 percent throughout the life stages of the plant. That's why i topdressed and added some ACTS of the same basic amendments during veg except i added shrimp meal for the flowering.

Thing is, i loaded up the dosage of food and one tea to kick it all off right at the beg of flower....next time i will probably wait another 3 weeks after flower to add the shrimp meal.... Point is i guess i was going to see if that one feeding was good enough but i don't think so because i think i have a potassium deficiency with the purple striping. The pic you see is of widows and a few (smaller plants) cookies. 3 main plants 2 ww 1 bagseed royal cookie... All in 5 gal fabric pots 2 in the front unknown cookie maybe samoas....

I made one more tea to feed her for tomorrow's watering....i don't think I'm doing something stupid.... Just shrimp and kelp.... Lol...i like to keep it simple and i think plants do too.... I know other than the purple stemming and veins, which i think will be healed in a couple of days, i think and know they are doing pretty well and happy... Those quantum boards are dope!

If you do got a def I'd imagine it's pretty light cause they look fantastic. Hard to overfeed with what your describing your going to use so have it dude. Great job with your first real grow brother:tiphat:

I agree with bird. They look good. Nice supprt trellis and nice canopy.

What light are you using? How many weeks have they been on 12/12?

Thanks for all the kind words guys! I really appreciate it....

I'm using hlg's 320 3000k quantum board kit from growers lights.... Quantum boards are unreal....

I flipped them 30 days ago.... Do you guys see the potassium deficiency also? Sorry if the pics arent that clear... Hard to get a good pic

Sounds like the right thing to do. no idea what strain you have going there, but most feed well for around 60 days after the flip.
Enjoy the experience !

The ones that are taller are victory seeds white widow and a few bagseed cookies.... So i guess purple striping on the stock, even on the widows, is normal during the end of flower. I thought it could be a potassium def.

Purple can be caused by genetics or cooler temps. Some people think of purple stems as a positive trait. No cause for worry though.

If you're worried check out the modern methods webpage, it has a sample 10 week schedule as well with top dresses etc using modern mix. You might have missed out on some magnesium but looks like it is going well for you.

Well the widows have a little less than 2 weeks to go and cookies maybe another week but all in all I'm happy for my first real grow... Organic living soil is the $hit! Basically just watch them grow with the creators grace...
