who mailed many bombs recently and is apparently a huge Trump supporter
Trump stuff plastered all over his home
now this genius bomber nearly set a record for the minimum time to be caught for this kind of thing

My feelings are that either he is just some nut-job - or this whole bombing campaign is some sorta false flag - fake attack - with unexploding bombs - to glean sympathy and support - for one side of the political divide - just before the mid-terms.

i dont really see anything out of the ordinary there. lots of democrats voted for trump, lots of republicans hate trump. the idea that his van would get wrecked because he supports trump doesnt land with me to be honest.

i've seen plenty of Trump postered vehicles up my way in NY
not to mention homes with trump signs, haven't seen 1 incident of Trump poster vandalism
and NY is definitely less Trump friendly then Florida

I can't find one instance if a vehicle being demolished in Florida because of a Trump sticker.

Yes the bomber is a nutjob. But apparently he is a rabid Trump supporter, who is simply answering Trump's call to defeat the mob aka known as the Democrats.


Your attempt to minimize the severity of this attack is noted. It was not a fake attack. Explosive devices were sent thru the mail.
We were lucky that none exploded. If those bombs were sent to the president and 10 other Republicans by a rabid Democrat I doubt you would be calling that a fake attack. No, that would be called an attempt on the presidents life, and we'd be hearing all about it on the run-up to our mid term elections



Now we watch Trump and the rest of his lackies try to distance himself from this. It kinda destroys the idea that the Dems are a "mob" while one of your supporters mails explosive devices to your perceived enemies. So look to then to try to spread the "fake attack" theme.



Lastly I'd expect this shit to continue, and worsen. In 12 days the Dems will take back the House. Then the fake investigations end and the real investigations begin. Trump and his supporters will be even more desperate and dangerous then.

In the sense that we run the risk of getting blamed for dumb crap other white guys do?

Last time I checked we're doing pretty okay on the being white men front (now, being a poor white dude? never a good time to be poor - there is privilege in being white and male, but it doesn't mean every white male is privileged to the same degree).

I find it funny, how no one mentioned that several prominent republicans were sent ricin last week. Also, no one blamed Bernie Sanders, when one of his supporters shot a Republican congressman.

Violence is never a solution to a political disagreement.

By my understanding it was powder, not ricin, but its certainly disturbing all the same.



As for Bernie and Steve Scalise, that's a spurious connection. The complaint about Trump is his rhetoric about the press being the enemy of the American people and Democrats being less than human/un-American. Bernie is certainly sharply critical of Republican policies, but I don't recall him vilifying people.
