This is a wonderful heat blanket to keep your pipe/cylinder warm and prevent a "sticky situation" (condensation) for components inside.
Designed for pipes/cylinders/columns of 4"(OD) x 36" (L). Other measurements can be made customly.
More durable and rigid with reinforced silicone substrate(4 layers).
Integrated with Rainbow adjustable thermostat of 0~80 Deg C for easy temperature control and avoid over heating.
With velcro straps of over 10cm long to suits cylinders of various diameters.

Important Notes:
Please make sure of a tight clamp to ensure proper and smooth heat transfer.
The heater is designed with a gap of about 1/2" over the colmun, not for full coverage.
Please handle it with care. Do not bend or fold it sharply. Always lay flat or in big roll when not installed.
The thermostat, being mechanical, is not that accurate when compared with a PID controller and may fall behind the actual temperature. Please use extra thermometer to keep track of the real surface temperature.
Please check item # 281316294264 for our Omron PID control system if precise temperature control is desired.

General Introduction of Silicone Heater

Durable and precise, silicone rubber heaters are the most widely used flexible heaters and available in a virtually unlimited range of configurations and geometry's. Silicone rubber heaters provide highly efficient heat transfer over a wide temperature range(-50 Deg C ~260 Deg C).

Lightweight and flexible, they provide superior surface conformance that extends heater life by minimizing the gradient between heating element and heat sink. In addition, silicone rubber heaters are dimensionally stable and chemical resistant. They can be designed with multiple heating, shielding and power levels.

Thermostats can be incorporated in a heater for optimum response time and gradient control. Sensors can be integrated inside a heater, adhered to the heater surface, or installed at specific locations within the system to prevent over temperature.
