leggy seedling- can i plant it deeper??

seedlings are a bit leggy- when i transplant, can they go deeper into the soil- i know u can do this with some plants (tomatoes)- can u do it with weed???

You can put soil right to the 1st set of leaves. :tiphat:

Roots will eventually grow on the buried stem like on a clone.

You can bend it over and bury a stem. All nodes will grow vertically and create a wall or hedge. The branches just need to be clear of the soil when you do it. It’s in ask Ed article from way back
