Very nice suroundings indeed ! must say it does seem some like here, jeje and I see you have cold nights too. Even the Colombian on the caliz and under leaf has tone from the cool nights.
Very nice my friend I always push to grow dif varieties as just one type of smoke isn't proper jejeje build up tolorence and it's not the best tool for each and every job. We have diff smokes for dif likes also so it's great to have add some spice in life.
Those Colombians have great space'n between nodes, will fill up realy nice I hope you post a pic agian when more mature, The ahgani looks great, not much more to go, jeje somethign while you wait.

Colombian Red.
Origin very contraversial, but likes the dryer seasons and higher elevations. This plant starts off very fatt leafed and has tighter nodes which makes you think it's an indica in many ways or a hybird, as it even smells while young too, but will finish to be very if not 100% sativa.
The Reds will grow about 1 to 2 feet tall, sex, and flower only dobleling in size under 12hr conditions and tropical climate if that as too a Gold when starting can finish 3 or 4 times her size easy. the Reds will put out red colors on leaf stems, branches and main stalk too. Leafs are a darker green then the golds and the smell is strong, even with out rubbing or touching. When cutting jeje stand back even...It's a more pugnent, sweeter smell.
Leafs don't revert as much as the golds, but doo to a degree.
It can finish in half the time the Golds but realy do prefer drier climates since can get some mold on their flowers. Very heavy on the tric's as she looks sugar bathed indeed.
High isn't as tripy or energetic as the gold but sets in faster and hits realy hard, thought disorientation is easy...forgetting what you just did, where doing or wanted too do is too easy.
It's taste is awsome, some chocolate even but it's not easy too take in, the smallest hit for some can make me and friends cough. High doesn't climb after smoking but does last for a considrable amount of time and doesn't make you feel hungover after, few to many hits can put you out though as your body goes numb...not like the Golds where you can smoke more anytime and feel higher and alive agian almost make'n you get up and dance'n. Both will give a good luagh as you do the stupidest things...
Easy to clone and revege when young, likes water only when she needs it in comparison with Golds. Very easy to care for, with plenty of branches and great main cola the yields are rewarding.

Grows very well when started in humid seasons, and under tropical conditions best. A plant that thrives on as much water, sun as she can get while young, resulting higher female ratios and growing vigorously with mold resistance, finishing in time for the dry season.
She can go into flower under 12hr day/nights around 2-3 feet tall but will continue to grow easily even in opposite phylo reaching 6-9feet tall with branches that can come from her lowest point that can be just as long as she is tall. In Containers along with water deprivation maybe a little string, she can be controlled.
Normally very long thin colas, but not always as some will fatten as they like too keep putting out fresh pistils when allowed and cared for, giving impressive long colas, coverring from there tips all the way too the main stalk. Color goes from a very light if not florescent light green to a very dark forest green on mature leafs. When trics appear, normally in later flower these plants sparkle in the sun covered in fine sugar that makes them look almost silver.
Grows in a cone shape, nodes are tight for such pure Sativas and get very woody stems, while still green can be easy to train, or bend.
Leafs appear from single blades then 3 digits 5, 7 and up to 9 digits are common. Very heavy serrations, even double serrated sometimes. When mature leafs will revert from 9 to 7, 6, 5, 3 and finally single blades again. They will then yellow out from the bottom up, from larger to smaller then falling while pistils go from white too pink in majority. In Colder nights the calyxes can turn a wonderful purple even blues.
Smell is very special, mostly only when rubbed or mature but is of a sweet, yet kind of sour diesel pine smell. With long dries and a good cure the buds turn a copper color, hence “Colombian Gold”.
The high is energetic, stimulating mind and body, it's a soaring rocket fuel awaking high that can make some go pale, feel a accelerated heart beat and numbing of the body and brain.
The taste and smoothness make it easy to take a nice long deep hit...but wait to you let it out, thick clouds of white smoke that can bring a few tears out cough'n. Long lasting high that sets in as your starting your joint, that just keeps climb'n take'n you higher and higher even long after you finished, make'n it hard to measure when to stop smoke'n jeje
Realy makes you happy, joyfull and glow as you wish everyone could feel as great as you are. Worth the wait indeed. Can draw for hrs, sit and stare at somthing for hrs...talk for hrs jeje wifes faovrite is you can have sex for hrs too ! friends have always said the same...jeje herbal viagra, some even have called it love potion.

Plants seemed very much like the Golds, but I noticeds that these would grow to a certian size and then start to tip over on there own, very week looking at first as it's branches don't stiff out seem to never stiffen actually, they bend and curve with the wieght but don't snap.
The Colas have a way of getting very fat as they just stack on more and more, if the plant isn't tied up she would almost look like a vine with tips pointing up searching for light when fully mature.
The high is very special, jejej but hard to calculate. See you smoke now, feel it, but doesn't realy kick in till later. Just creeps up on you...Great laughter, very energetic, even tripy like the Golden, except kinda seems to not want too stop climbing. Easy to want too smoke another right away since you don't feel so high jeje but you'll feel it later definitly. Great to smoke before a movie or work jeje as you'll be alert, social and waiting for a good laugh.
Creepy much like the gold can be hard to calculate when to harvest as they don't seem to want to finish, coka cola bottle fat types.

i was having a think today about the growing at altitudes , i can see from what i harvest here when the nights are beginning to chill alittle like they are now , and days are still very hot , and into the 30s c , the resin seems to be alot more excessive ... i gu ess the plants are needing to protect themselves from the cold and the heat , perhaps this causes such things ,,, it sure seems to be the herb that is the nicest , as long as you can get a dry finish ,, boy that s not easy in the tropics ,,, bloody rain ....

Thanks Chaman, yes I have a small light cab but I only use it when the plants are seedlings and at night during the day everybody stays outside. I plan on building a bigger one but we are about to move again (new house same town) and I want to wait till we get settled. Where I live in Colombia is not a good climate for growing cannabis due to the extreme altitude and cool temps. Weed grows here no doubt but it grows slow, even the Colombians don’t grow up here. I really don’t see a wet or dry season, as it seems to rain anytime, when it rains and or is overcast its cold. This month March its rained everyday right when some of my plants are finishing. The good news is I have a place down the mountain (about 45 minutes from here) where the climate is warm and dry, perfect for cultivation, the problem is I can only get down there every other month. I plan on starting a small crop down there next month and these plants will be grown in the ground not in pots. I should have a much better grow there.

thanks for your consejos, they make a lot of sense, in fact., since the start of my growth i have been feeding my girls 100% organics, always in tea form, although in the original soil mix i made, some of the soil i bought had composted manure in it, so that is good too
yesterday i started to fertilize with liquid humus, made in mexico, carbo-vit, 20ml per liter of water. lets see how they do with it.
before i was fertilizing with my own pee 10 parts water 1 part pee, worked great for sure, i have no complaints. also made a banana peel tea, which i have been adding as well, but very seldomly.
i was told by a friend that tangerine (mandarinas) peels were also a good topping. i added a few but just once.
btw, in the original soil mix i made for the ladies, i gave the mix a couple spoons of Cal Agricola, kinda the same as dolomite lime.
i transplanted all plants into bigger pots except the indicas cali purples, i think they don´t need any more space.
one of the colombians is still in a small pot, i did not transplant it for lack of soil.

also, about Colombian Gold, i read in a book called Marijuana Botany, that colombian gold was also made to go golden because a few days before harvest, the main steam of the plant was injured on purpose to get it dry into all golden colours, i dunno if you know of this, maybe Redrider does?

"Creeper Phenotype - This phenotype has appeared in several domestic Cannabis crops and it is a frequent phenotype in certain hybrid strains. It has not yet been determined whether this trait is genetically controlled (dominant or recessive), but efforts to develop a true-breeding strain of creepers are meeting with partial success. This phenotype appears when the main stalk of the seedling has grown to about 1 meter (3 feet) in height. It then begins to bend at approximately the middle of the stalk, up to 700 from the vertical, usually in the direction of the sun. Subsequently, the first limbs sag until they touch the ground and begin to grow back up. In extremely loose mulch and humid conditions the limbs will occasionally root along the bottom surface. Possibly as a result of increased light exposure, the primary limbs continue to branch once or twice, creating wide frond-like limbs of buds resembling South Indian strains. This phenotype usually produces very high flower yields. The leaves of these creeper phenotype plants are nearly always of medium size with 7-11 long, narrow, highly serrated leaflets."

Hi Wallyduck, with the high heat i believe that it increases the resin production, that combined with the altitudes [a purer oxygen] Het Presto, flowers dripping of resin.
I have seen this in North India in the Parvarti Valley [pure indicas], and in the Muang Sing Plateau in Northern Laos on the Burmese and chinese borders [Sativa x's]. The combination of the above produced the desired effect. Seeds i had collected from Northern Laos and High land regions of Thai that i have flowered didn't turn out the same, but that is of course due to the fact that i didn't grow these seeds in that region, only down country a little @ 14 degree North and im only a few hundred meters above sea level,....so no altitude.

Your right there Bro, i have to induce flower early on to obtain the best yield, and so i dont lose to much bud thats taken me 12-14 weeks to work on. Even the fluffiest sativa can trap to much moisture, which doesn't evaporate cos it's still 80% humid.

i have to agree with this, this is why i am building a glass roof to protect the plants from excesive rain. imho, this would 'perfect' the conditions of growing, because now you have all the desireable traits the tropics + high altitudes can offer. Also, the wind in high altitudes in the tropics is very constant, so the humidity should not be a problem, since the wind will dry excessive wetness within your buds if you have provided a proper shelter for them from the rain. now you can control watering, etc... i am sure you all get the idea...

yes a good dry is dif, only in my attic things dry well....but too fast, or with a friends borrowed dehumidifier in the bathroom also, but dries too fast....DONT LIKE MY HERBS DRYIED FAST ! jejejeej it's just not the same at all.
A slow dry is the best...I mean the slowest posible too, the kind that drives you crazy while you wait. Thos buds burn best, taste best and are always clorofly free, I mean they are a rusted color by then, but with claer and cloudy trics ! jeje some just maybe starting to amber. Those are my fav.
Fast dried greenbuds aren't the same. jeje but can save more then half a harvest sometimes jeje give or take.
IN wet season ,yes I cut my indicas early, my sats I thin out. I mean by this I don't leave all her branches...I sacrafice a few here and there to open up space and through strength to those better branches, and not wast as much time. I tie and trian by openn them up and lay'n them out as flat I can. So I can wait for a longer and more mature better buds, jeje I smoke the early testers in the mean time jejeje no loss realy.
I agree also that my buds are better in dry season, dry ambient and cooler nights with crazy hot days and plenty of wind, but they grow slower and yeild little more then half they due in wet season, its true thought jeje quality vs quantity. I perfer the cuality. Dude I have'n truble spelling...jejej realy high right now lol. Buds are more frosted in my dry season for sure then my wet, jejej but hey, we can always smoke some more !
I have realy nice plans drawn out for my greenhouse, the biggest pain is the base.
Its not enought to cover your plants....you got to run the water away from them too ! jeje specialy when your barometer is always with a sad face jejej it's rare under 70% here, in wet it's 100% all the time, the whole ambient has to due with it.
I'll have a huge whole, i'll fill it with larg rockes first and then fill in with smaller and smaller till I reach level desired...no more dirt floor, I HATE DUST ON MY BUDS IN DRY SEASON ! jeje and in wet, it just wicked in humididty.
I'll have too build at least 3 or 4 rows of block reenforeced with wire'n filled in with the rocks, and a long as drian pipe to draw water out and away even more. Goal to have it automated is simple, just larger investment with garage door opener and light sensor. Can even put a motion detectos face'n naighbors roof to close every time he gets up there. and open when he leaves !
There shouldnt' be more then 70% humidity and plants shouldn't take up more then 30-40% of a greenhouse for it to work right acording to Jorge Cervantes Swiss Greenhouse peace in OG.
Should have air flow along the bottom and top, plants main bulck along the center kinda seems very true if you think about it.
Some fans that circulate the flow to help side to help th active exhaust and pasive intakes, with should have plenty of. Think I read if an active exhaust is 12inches, it's passive intake should be doble if not triple the size for it to suck the air out at a decent rate, and not mess up your fan by over work'n it...jeje you'd know if when you open the door, it makes a whole entire diff sound...and you'd have to realy pull on the door to open it jeje think thats neg air presure inside, can be good to reject insects but if your plants aren't alowed to interchange gasses fast enought with the air getting sucked out it wouldnt be too cool. Enought passive intakes would avoid that.

just a though how many generations of a low level sat would be needed to adapt to a high level ambient and kick out the canabinoide production ?
I've been like'n my love level with high leve sat crosses as they give little bit of the best of both worlds...but never though about that before. I know plants grown at home will always be best, jeje but who says we can't try and make them feel at home and hope for something similar ! jeje
I perefer high level sats in terms of wait, and power, but perfer the energetic and mind expanding tripy stimulate'n low level sat plants in terms of high...they sometimes even seem not to have as much trics as the high levels, but when you touch them they stick to you finger somehow and kick off that sweet pine, diseal fruity wierd smell as she towers over you...

My Colombians are prety much very like the details you cut and pasted but I don't ahve to scarr my plant,s they yellow on ther own when its time it seems...I have to cut those leafs but in some of my pics you can see, thy start to drop and yellow as the plant matures on their own, I cut them for safty....seen the those are the only damn leas you can visualy identfy through my plastic. jeje they stand out a great deal.
the Creepie as all too well said per Clark, jeje wow, that was so nicelt put...i got to learn to write better as i've observed all that too, and in rain season mine hae rooted also in dif parts and wow...jeje where that would happen there was alot more vigor as juices realy flowed I guess, but I rarrly get one now and then....they are in my Colombian Gold seeds have started to save them on their own now, but still got to work more with them indeed...branches don't snap jeje can tie them in knots even if you do it slow, I'd twist them around metal wires to trian them and tie the tips too the roof ( my greenhouse is like a grid, all covered in metal construction wire they use noramly made of maybe 4'' squares.) so plenty of places to tie to and trian slow as I do.

Redrider, much luck with the move, and hope you can find more time to go to the landlower down...my cusin lives up and over the hills, but not more then 30min on bike and its a whole dif climate, more sunny and dry... jej damn micro climates love'm or hate'm jeje he can't grow orchids like I can.

yes a good dry is dif, only in my attic things dry well....but too fast, or with a friends borrowed dehumidifier in the bathroom also, but dries too fast....DONT LIKE MY HERBS DRYIED FAST ! jejejeej it's just not the same at all.
A slow dry is the best...I mean the slowest posible too, the kind that drives you crazy while you wait. Thos buds burn best, taste best and are always clorofly free, I mean they are a rusted color by then, but with claer and cloudy trics ! jeje some just maybe starting to amber. Those are my fav.
Fast dried greenbuds aren't the same. jeje but can save more then half a harvest sometimes jeje give or take.
IN wet season ,yes I cut my indicas early, my sats I thin out. I mean by this I don't leave all her branches...I sacrafice a few here and there to open up space and through strength to those better branches, and not wast as much time. I tie and trian by openn them up and lay'n them out as flat I can. So I can wait for a longer and more mature better buds, jeje I smoke the early testers in the mean time jejeje no loss realy.
I agree also that my buds are better in dry season, dry ambient and cooler nights with crazy hot days and plenty of wind, but they grow slower and yeild little more then half they due in wet season, its true thought jeje quality vs quantity. I perfer the cuality. Dude I have'n truble spelling...jejej realy high right now lol. Buds are more frosted in my dry season for sure then my wet, jejej but hey, we can always smoke some more !
I have realy nice plans drawn out for my greenhouse, the biggest pain is the base.
Its not enought to cover your plants....you got to run the water away from them too ! jeje specialy when your barometer is always with a sad face jejej it's rare under 70% here, in wet it's 100% all the time, the whole ambient has to due with it.
I'll have a huge whole, i'll fill it with larg rockes first and then fill in with smaller and smaller till I reach level desired...no more dirt floor, I HATE DUST ON MY BUDS IN DRY SEASON ! jeje and in wet, it just wicked in humididty.
