Naphthalene acetic acid (NAA)

Hey y'all so I picked up Naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) as a rooting hormone, anyone have knowledge about it?

I haven't readily been able to find any info on it.

I know it's the active ingredient in a product that use to be around called The Hammer that was for reducing stretch and initiating flowering. It sounds like some interesting stuff it's a PGR but listed as a organic compound and also used as a rooting hormone. I dont have any first hand advice on how to use it, it looks like theres some online though. I am curious if it will make your clones grow midget plants, keep us posted.

I'm here as my roota has been discontinued. It was 0.09% plus fungicide. Only stuff that has ever worked for me, and gave rare losses. I have seen a 200ppm solution used to soak the tips in for 10-20 mins, in a paper on some awkward grass plant.

At day 14 with some new goo, I have no roots. Just losses. I must find something quick. Only Clonex seems available, which historically came in a poor second place. Having no fungicidal qualities I could see. So damping off followed on both trials.

Seems my new useless goo, is meant to be top shelf. Rootit.
Naphthaleneacetic is actually listed as a fungicide. I just found this, but used my discontinued product simply because it stopped rot. It offered no speed increase I cared for. Just reliability. Though seeing this rootit, I guess it did speed things up. I'm 50% overdue. Still no signs. About to start again.
