Is there a electrician in the house??

I’m installing a flood light security camera outside my door.

I’m gonna connect it to a wall circuit instead of switch box.

I need to drill a hole on my house wall to pass the cable. What kind of cable should I use? Normal one or some kind of protected all weather cable.

Other than that its pretty easy.

Drill a hole, pass wire thro, attach camera to the wall, attach wire to camera. Connect to mains.

Is there anything else I need to know?

I would use an outdoor rated cable if it's for outside. After the hole is drilled and it's all fixed just spray some expanding foam in the hole.
