hey man i didnt grow it but smoked bud in cambodia all the time when i was on holiday (tho alot they got there is imported from laos i think). i like the weed they got its not so potent but really nice and enjoyable high, you can get blazed all day and still walk around and do your thing.
I have three flowering now, no flowers yet though. I saw jakespeeds posts about it and it is not a cross. They are pure sativas for sure, I have some ACE Green Haze x Panama next to them and the KG looks way more like an extreme sativa. I think Gypsy just took the guys word for the flower time when he acquired them and never grew them out.

Here they are today. This is gonna be crazy!!! I plan to hit these with PTK pollen and Deep Congo F3 pollen also. If i had a male, I'd make some F2's. I do have a Green Haze x Panama male I could use on them but I think the hybrids might be more fun to explore.

My KG's are doing very well at the moment. I think they are 6 or 7 feet tall now and forming buds. I pollinated two of the with PTK , should be a fun cross to play with. I'll try to post some pics soon. They are hard to get to in the back of the room, but I'll have a clear path to them in a few weeks

The KG flowered for 100-120 days. I had three females that all finished with a similar odor. In fact the smell reminds very much of Starfruit. The high is crystal clear and speedy.Not the best tasting smoke,but the effect is what it's all about. I'll definitely be running more of these.
Edit- So, I'm sitting here eating a starfruit and it smells nothing like this Herb. Khmer Gold smells way, way better than a Starfruit. I would say it is more along the line of a Mango scent. Mango and flowers with a hint of spiciness.

Yeah it does. But , I knew that when I started them. A grower named jakespeed posted some pics last Feb. of the KG.His took longer than 120 I think. I don't sweat flower times, it's just time. I grow many types of herb and if you've ever tried a potent long flowering sativa, you know what I mean.
He commented that his did not herm even after being "around the block". I put these thing through hell and none of the three hermed on me. I had other strains herm during my last grow, but the Khmer Gold did not.

My citral skunk turned out looking exactly like that, no nugs, just tons of strings of sacks with pistold coming off a single stem and then there was a ton of thos fingers jammed together. It tasted ok but I used most of it for hash cuz it didn't cure well and had no citrus smell or skunk smell....yet all my other buds were actually buds...I was so pissed...

I flowered out a few of the Khmer Gold x PTK that I made. Flower structure is very reminiscent of the Khmer Gold, that's the only minus I see in this hybrid. Aroma and flavor are kicked way up. Better than either parental line in my opinion. Flower time around ten weeks for all three that I flowered out and two of the three have an awesome sativa high that is plenty strong. The other is pretty stoney, heavy body load along with the up high.
The PTK brought some extra frost covorage to the party so the leafy buds aren't a total loss. I'll dry-sift them this winter on a cold gray afternoon
