At a loss for what’s going on. Ppm and ph issues

So I’ve been growing GG4 for quite some time now and this is the first time I’ve ever ran into this issue and I’m at a loss.

I’m in 25 gallon pots
Medium is Promix HP
Nutes are Mills

So I’ve only given these plants 1000ppm twice. Did a run off test and my ppm was 1900 and ph was 5.2.

I’m wondering if I need to increase the watering so every time i feed I’m getting run off and the build up is from having no run off. Some areas look like they aren’t getting enough nutes and other areas look like they are locking out.

These plants were just put into flower today. Veg time is 9 weeks.
Lights are at 630w
Temps are 77-79
Humidity is at 55-60%
Co2 is at 850

Water feed water water feed etc. Seems like your soil is really hot. I would flush it out with properly ph'd water. Then get on a schedule with water/feed.

Good luck

Yes you get buildup especially if no runoff. Flush like Lester said then wait until you see better growth. Don’t start feeding until you’re sure they need it. I’ve fried a plant by over feeding never thought to flush. Now I know better. Peace sdd

Yep- get that ph higher, set a strict feeding schedule. The 900-1000ppm shouldn't be a problem unless you get to sub 6.0. Just a guess but I think your trace/minerals could be bound to your medium and totally useless right now. You're all macro and no micro. I wouldn't suggest any foliar action until they're looking a bit better.

Ditto on the foliar feed a good seaweed mix should help fix micro nutes issues. Flush like the others said with maybe some 7.0ph water a few times and see if the runoff bumps up some.

You don't need to PH Pro-Mix ever; though I don't see that as your problem. A post about Pro-Mix with excerpt from the manufacturer. Plenty of new better info on the web site also. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=271663

From what I see in the photos and from what you describe I'd say your problem is that your medium is getting to dry between waterings. This will make the plants look as they do in the pictures posted, overly dry medium should also raise the ppm of your runoff. Admittedly I've never cared to check run off in 8 years, so I could be off on that raising ppm. It's pretty simple though less water same amount of salts, more ppms.

To fix your problem I say
1. Water more often Pro-Mix doesn't need to fully dry out.
2. Don't feed plain water ever (especially RO water)! If you feel you just have to flush in that way; need to be using feed water in the 150-200ppm range. I'd recommend sugar/sweetener products, any kind of Teas, or organic nutes to flush with. Again it's not really needed or effective in Pro-Mix to flush with super low ppm water. Read the link.
3. Watering more often and keeping medium wet will allow you to keep ppms higher if thats what you'd like to do.
4. In a 25 gal pot of Pro-mix if your'e not getting any runoff you haven't fully saturated the entire pot/medium.

So pretty much with my pots being 20-25 gallons smart pots, I’m just not giving enough water during feeds? I’ve only had run off once through this round of veg. I’ve been in the range of 3.75 gallons-4.25 gallons per watering. Yesterday I did a 6.5 gallons feed that resulted with about 10-15% runoff.
Trying to figure out this proper watering with these big ass pots because I just tp’d 20 more into these pots.
With the new tp’d plants yesterday I gave 2.5 gallons around the tp’d plant and didn’t have runoff.

I guess you have to use more water until you get some runoff.

Try harder.

Lol. Try harder. You have no idea man. Such an unnecessary comment. Obviously I’m trying and trying to figure it out. Other wise I wouldn’t be on here asking for advice as what else to do. :thank you:
