Not the best spectrum for veg. You want a little more blue like 5000k+

Soon as you put the word Hydro on anything the price jacks up 250%

4000K is perfect for veg or flower. A seed to harvest spectrum if you will.

For 159 bucks, 320 watts, 42K lumens, 48 inch long, 18 wide fixture that's dimmable and UL listed. It's a great deal.

And yes, that diffuser is coming off.

I have three of these 321 watt lights that I found on Amazon. Mine are 5000K. Not an ideal spectrum for flower but they still do well. I also use one for veg in my veg room.

Takes about a minute to remove the plastic diffuser and you are ready to grow.

Chunky girls are underrated.

Looks like those lights are doing a good job. HLG keeps raising their prices with every new "version" for meager performance gains on paper.
