Haha so I hope Silver Hawaiian doesn't mind me using his kinda idea for the thread title! his is longer and better though!

Ok so I finally built a new cab and figured it was also time to start a new thread!

Ok so first off I'll list the basic specs of my new cab...

It was meant to be a 2x2 sqaure but I don't think it turned out that way... I'll get the true interior measurements in the morning...

It is roughly 4 feet tall.

150w HPS

with a CFM bathroom exhaust fan

ghetto intake right now... working on building one like scrub ninja's design...any advice welcome.

Ok so I can't think of any more specs on the cab at the moment! any questions and I would be happy to answer!

Here is what is running in the cab and what will be going in the future...

Currently:

Everything with a (?) means I have ran it before I am just not sure if I want to keep it as a mother or not...

I believe that is all for now... I will update this weekend with some bud porn... I know looking at little cabs is not that exciting...

RedEyed Genetics Beast Mode (Trinity x Ortega) testers...

6 made it through my torture session... they got put into the flower cab this morning! Trying to weed out the males early and keep em small at the same time...

looking good, tight build!
if i were you, being you're running a 150w bulb, i would keep the girls shorter.
you won't get but a few inches of penetration into the canopy.
then you could get some small "s" hooks and a couple cuts of jack chain to raise/ lower the reflector.
a scrog style or lst would make for the most efficient run.
you could even step up to a 250 or 400 for that space.
i run a 400 over a 2'x2' w/ 6 plants no veg and the results make me happy.

Hey bro thanks for stopping by and thanks for the suggestions!

First off I would love to go bigger but I don't think I'll be rocking a bigger bulb anytime soon.

the hook and chain idea is great... It just kinda sucks cuz even though I am not exactly perpetual on a cycle like I planned to be i always have different strains at different times in flowering so i tend to just elevate each plant as needed individually.. but I still like the idea of the chain and hooks..

I have thought of scrog and LST before and they are deff GREAT ways to maximize yield! First I need to finish these next few rounds of testers and then find my TRUE KEEPERS and clean out the VEG are and start vegging up some BEASTS for a nice SCROG or LST.

But that will be a while but It will happen one day!

hey mans thanks alot! it wasn't too hard to construct. a few cuts... a few pre drills... and few screws... some staples... and some tape... oh and the velcro! haha

There are still some minor light leaks that I am slacking on fixing but lights out is from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. and I cover it every morning with a blanket for the light leaks and then by the time it is dark enough at night to see the leaks I am too tired to work on the cab... lol but I will get on it!

Also I only have 1 layer of reflectix and when the lights are on at night you can almost see a glow coming through it. it's kinda weird looking lol... the reflectix is not exactly light proof itself... but I don't think any outside light is getting through it but the HPS is just so strong it leaks out... Idk either way I am eventually going to cover the outside with a dark cloth or fabric of some sort so it doesn't like so suspicious from the outside and so I don't have to put a blanket over it every morning.

ahh the scrog... so many have reccomended it... and I really do need to listen... too many different testers and stuff going on right now... but I do plan on rocking a monocrop scrog VERY soon... even if I start my little CFL cab back up for it...

I got a box just like that I made!!! Looks sweet. Mine is wrapped in black and white poly- I like the reflectix though. In mine I have an led, cfl's and t5's.

nice dude... i copied chloemobile's design... I bet the poly is nice though because it is black on the outside... mine looks a little suspicious on the outside if you can see the reflectix... I leave it covered with a blanket during the day....

is yours for veg or flower?

how big and how many watts per sq ft?

I have placed my 110w PL-L fixture in the flower cab until the bulb gets here... and replaced it with CFL's in my veg area...

Looking at an upgrade and this might just turn into SCROG like everyone has suggested! stay tuned in the coming weeks!

@ Sour: Looking real good man def got this cab on point. The flowers are looking stellar and I see the drive is strong with you young Luke skywalker lol. Been awhile since I've peeped your threads but now all,that BS is done im just lurking around and finishing up my tester threads.
