i didnt know arson of police stations, courthouses and local shops is how you protest. but sure, maybe if you burn down enough of the city it will be a utopia.

The protests in the US are still growing, even with Trump sending federal agents.

Dumb racists gonna racist

Ah yes a movement around racial equality and ending of systemic problems is divisive (only to racists), and secretly genocidal.

Okay.

BLM does not want racial equality, lol. They are a racist hate group.

lmao, basically your response amounts to: if you don't agree with me it's becuase you are rascist. you are prooving my point, you see enemies, where as i, see people that i disagree with about some things. where i see a discussion you see hate speech and rascism, even though i have nothing but respect for all humanity no matter their color or religion and believe that we all have equal rights as human beings.

Early in the rioting I noticed the 'dollar' shops got trashed. I expect that was because the poor neighbourhoods were pissed at a system that rips them off one dollar at a time. Makes millions out of the poor's inability to pay. An unconscionable Irony!

well we know about zoros being one of their financiers, not sure who else.

here is a article listing the companies, then its just a matter of who owns them. of course many are donating to try and buy protection from their mobs. like target, lol, didnt go so well somehow, they burned that fucker to the ground.

https://www.cnet.com/how-to/companies-donating-black-lives-matter/

i didnt even read this properly, so not sure if the foundations that donated are listed. thats how Zoros's money goes to these causes, he has a whole network of ngo's that he funels his money through.

The situation where the Feds are fighting the County is awful. A Nation SO divided! I watch on, appalled!

Gypsy I have never laughed louder than at the Goons and at Spike Milligan. Did you see the movie "The Bed Sitting Room"? It's on the web. You can buy for AUD 10. BUT ...

Shocking to think the Millions made out of slavery underpins much UK business today.

Ahhh yes - The Goons - I can still here Sir Harry Secombe and Spike Milligan playing on some old 60's radio - somewhere, nostalgically in my memory - then must not forget Peter Cook and Dudley Moore too -

* ahh - just found this old page - what they called a Proslavery Cartoon, from 1850 - kinda interesting -

that is not representative of the majority of protests.

it also doesn't negate the need for a serious discussion on criminal justice reform.

no one is claiming that the looters and burners represent the peacful protesters, or that they are the same. in fact they are very different and 1 should be protected and encouraged while the other should be cracked down on ruthlessly. apparently the groups change shifts and then it goes from peaceful to full on battle mode, specially at night time.

your last sentence is dead on though. justice reform is desperatly needed, so is police reform and much more.

Well I am shocked we agree on this. To expand on this and for any real future progress the black community/culture simply has no choice but to look deeply at itself and change to encourage more lawful attitudes and stop the ingrained generational welfare is the only choice mindset and out of control births to women from teens up who are pretty much fucked for life if they go that path and the young men who are irresponsible about birth control. The black culture has got to emphasize school is a great thing and it’s not being a sellout to whitey if they go to school and stay out of trouble.

i'm shocked a bit too. i also agree with a lot of this. it is, however, damned hard to simply stop what has been paying the bills for your family (dealing drugs) without something that WILL pay the bills on hand. it WILL have to be a seismic generational shift. plus, i can't think of a damn thing that pays what dealing drugs does even if you ignore taxes, lol. sure the fuck aint gonna happen at McDonalds saying "you want fries with that burger, motherfucker?":biglaugh:

i agree with armed hippy, to me its a symptom of a greater issue.

when we have a society built to empower the already upper class and damn the lower class citizens, this is what you get.

if i wasn't so damned afraid of prison or putting my loved ones in danger, i would definitely be selling drugs (not meth or coke or heroin though, them shits are trash imo) to support my family. it's hard enough working 6 days/ 60 hours a week (jeez i finally got a vacation lol, i was ready to crash and burn) to barely keep our heads above water.

i can't imagine if i was in a worse situation with no way out, some areas even in the u.s. are almost as bad as some third world countries... take a trip through the run down towns of north carolina, pennsylvania... you'll see 1st hand how economic depression leads to overall depression and substance abuse, lack of education, lack of viable jobs, and it's damn near impossible to pull up out of it.

then get sent to prison and have to come out where you're now in debt and nobody will hire a convict, damn right ppl just go back to selling drugs.

i'm not saying violence and crime are right, i just understand why it happens. and damn right ppl are pissed.

billionaire pedos get slaps on the wrist but ppl are still doing for a gram of weed on probation, prolly for the crime of being poor.

and even cops will admit to racial profiling... going after a poor minority person, getting them an overbooked public defender, coercing them into a plea deal is MUCH easier than arresting a middle class white kid (prolly just as many drug dealers in white suburbia) whose lawyer uncle will easily get charges thrown out... it's easy for me to see how the cycle continues.

and then even IF the black dude gets a fine job, nice townhouse, the pearl-clutching busy-body curtain peaking white boomer across the street is still gonna call the cops on him for sitting on his own damn porch... you fucking know this shit happens.

OK tell me how the fuck much does dealing drugs pay over 30-40 years for most of us blue collar types ? Does dealing drugs pay for dental care, medical, housing, food, clothing, life in general ? Does it have a 401K or retirement plan ? Here is a clue IT DOESNT FOR 99% of people in a family situation cause its mostly the vicious cycle of selling HARD drugs not rec weed. For fucks sake the dealing drugs for a living as in the gang shit lifestyle is out the fucking window. We are not talking about folks who have room to grow out a lot of weed even if its just that or have the resources to start it. SHIFT GEARS MAN !!

My area has been over ran last few years by the section 8 never gonna make it crowd but there are people where I work that cant get people to work for $15 an hour starting with a top out of upper $20's its got a top tier insurance for med dent and vision. Production folks make $80K plus a year with OT. All they gotta do is show up with good attendance. Cant get people to stay. Yes its a random drug test place but I smoke a lot but test myself. Back on track we have hired a lot of black people running from the shit town life who are the salt of the earth. But its easy to see within even a few hours or days who wants to make it and who is going to quit. The ones who stay are not obsessed with this racist crap cause they are busy working and taking care of their families like the rest of us. People I would trust hands down and talking to these people they figured it out and left that shit. One of my favorite people I work with is a huge dude that escaped from shitcago and says so all day long with his fam. He is moving up in the place and laughs his biggest issue with his son is he likes the cartoon porn. And yes dad likes his weed but he understands the priorities in life.

There is NO excuse for violence and CRIME.

Racism is systematic in most of the world, in order for racism to be removed the system that allows for it and props it up needs to be dismantled. When a movement against this system gets adopted by the same system you can count me out. I also can't say I've ever seen a system of oppression and control be dismantled by peaceful means, you can't destroy something and be peaceful about it. I was going somewhere with this but the brownie has just kicked in and my minds going to happier places...
