Us government pot?

I used to get my pot from a older friend who said it was stolen in 1965 (or so) from the us government when they were breeding pot for some experiments. It was REALLY potent, but it is gone now. Sigh
He had the pot tested and it was 22 % thc and VERY long lasting.
Was he pulling my leg? or is there such a variety?

g-13 is supposed to have been stolen from the government and it is potent so may be he had a clone from the origanal g-13 mother ??
