what sort of infection does she have? symptoms? my 12 month old lab has some lumps on his outer lips right now... i have a feeling they are from his food dish... its a small dish i had since he was a small pup, and has deep crevaces so he has to really get his big snout in there to get his food.... i went and picked up some new bowls for him.. perhaps this will help the large marble sized lumps go away...

good luck with healing your dogs issues my friend... my dogs are my kids...

im leaving labor day weekend and have to drop them off at a shelter since my family is unable to watch him.. having a hard time dealing with knowing they will be at a shelter where WHO KNOWS what the heck happens to them...

Thanks a bunch guys, really apprieciate the kind words...we are thying to be positive, lonewolf, i hear ya man, they are like sibling/children...one of the crew. hope you get his lumps sorted, insurance is a must, this already would have cost us thousands already, no real sythoms apart from persistant fever, resistance to anti-bio, lethargy, etc...no real 'eureka' sythombs yet, hope the college boffs can get to the bottom of it... :ying:

KKitty, Lonewolf, PP, HGO and sleepy, thank you, it really means a lot, my girl says thanks also...

Thanks so much for the replys, we saw her today and the sedation was still leaving her groggy..they shaved hair for fluid extraction on her leg joints, next is a spinal tap...then its antibiotics following blood cultures to see whats growing on in her veins...maybe we will get to know whats wrong, but they are pretty stumped at the moment.....will get some manuka oil, and when she home ill look into inocculation of beneficials to put back what two weeks of antibio's have destroyed...any other things to get ElManito??:chin:

thanks guys, we really apprieciate the well wishes...:)

Well, the best Manuka oil is from the East Cape region in New Zealand.
Another option is oregano oil in softgels (Solgar e.g.), but use the dosage of a child and another possibility is virgin coconut oil, because of the lauric acid which is converted in monolaurin.

Take care!!!
